***Mass Effect 2***SPOILER THREAD***

Played ME1 for the first time last week. Crashed a lot, and in general frustrated me, but a good game. Jumped into ME2, twas epic. Jack died for me, used no reloads / spoilers as I want to live by the calls I make in the heat of the moment, and see how it stacks up in ME3.

Would recommend playing both, but felt that ME2 was the more polished of the 2 at the time.

No one died on my watch although i was pretty ****ed off to learn you could save your entire ship crew if you went straight to the omega 4 relay instead of finishing off any side missions etc. I lost kelly and therefore had no private dancer in my cabin

She's the consolation prize if you refuse to get with any of the other love interests, I think you get her if you have one from the first game as well but I'm not sure.

Well you can go with her any time you want after you get the conversation option about dinner, just go to your desk in your cabin and use the intercom. You can call her up and shell lie in bed with you, sit on your lap or do a private dance. Just youtube it
You can do all those things with the other love interests apart from the dance, pfff
My love interest from the first game was ashley and nothing continued from that... not sure about the others.

Late to this particular party.

Regarding ME3, I somehow doubt Bioware have been making up the first two games as they go along and been allowed to announce a trilogy before the first instalment was even released.

As to what's going to be in it? Anybody's guess. Personally, if it's even only half as good as ME2, it's going to rock.

I finished it in 41hrs, with full Paragon score (got mush?):

• Vents: Tali (loyal)
• Squad Leader: Miranda (loyal)
• Escort: Mordin (loyal)
• Final Battle: Tali (loyal) and Thane (loyal)
• All survived
• Romance: Miranda (sorry - couldn't help it... must be that Ice Queen chick thing).

Finished as an Earthborn War Hero Vanguard. The special Vanguard biotic skill is just immense with the Krogan shotgun.

I was as surprised as you are. I was expecting a red bra, get a bit of colour in her life.

Thane is by far the most awesome new character, the sheer creepyness of his 'perfect memory' moments and his general single-minded, extremely professional personality when it comes to killing.

I liked Thane the best but his memory moments I found hilariously bad. I think I've seen some comedy sketch that has done something similar, not sure where but it just triggers something and I think oh **** not again.

I finished with everyone (including the crew) having survived.

Vents - Legion
Seemed like the most logical choice, being a tech expert and the fact I deemed him as expendable.

Squad Leader (both teams) - Garrus
The person I trusted the most, and someone with extensive experience leading a team.

Escort - Tali
I thought it would be nice for her to get back on the ship, and she came through for me and escorted all the crew back safely.

Shield - Samara
The obvious choice. One of only 2 powerful biotics, and much less of a loose canon than Jack.

Final battle
Mordin and Jacob. I really liked the dynamic of these two guys in battle (both good against 'organic' targets).

Romance - Tali
Was hoping to see her face, but nothing doing.

If I backtrack all my choices:

Let the dude die (he was crap, just like Jacob)
Let Wrex live
Let Rachni Queen live
Let Council die
Appointed Anderson as head honcho
Can't remember what option I did regarding Genophage
Kept Tali's dad's work covered up
Activated Legion and made him loyal, wiping the heretic geth
Kept the collector tech (ooooer!)

100% Para, 25% Rene (Soldier in ME1, Vanguard in ME2)

Favourite team set up, Miranda and Thane.

Nice, vanguard is a fun class.

Have you tried any of the DLC yet? I certainly recommend Overlord and Kasumi, as well as some of the weapon packs (Firepower in particular).
Plus Lair of the Shadow Broker looks to be released sometime in the next couple of months.

Cool that Shep can die but who will be the main char in ME3?

I don't think you can import your game if Sheppard dies... one of the loading screens says:

Import your character to Mass Effect 3.... if you survive!

I would love it if they let you import it anyway and you end up playing Joker (complete with gimpy leg) instead of Shepherd. I know it won't happen, but one can dream.

Stayed loyal to Liara - I dig blue skinned chicks
Kept the collector base. Illusive man seems a cool guy.
Favourite team - Garrus/Zaeed & Miranda (Tali for final mission)
Female Shepard - Soldier then Adept
100% (and then some ) Renegade, very little Paragon. I just had to be nice to some characters. Otherwise, if something could be shot, punched, abused, threatened or 'red' actioned. I did it. Most fun.
