***Mass Effect 2***SPOILER THREAD***

Vents: Legion
2nd Squad Leader: Miranda
Shield: Samara
Escort: None....decided I wanted my squad to survive and couldn't spare anyone :D
Finale: Jack and Grunt

Blew it up....couldn't trust the Elusive man!

None of my squad died and I was happy with that!!! :)

Looked back was around 66% Paragon 66% Renegade, a fine balance :D

Going to play through again from scratch, possibly without my Mass Effect 1 save!

Though I have to say, I saved the Archnid race in ME but really that came to nothing in the 2nd game, apart from that possessed Asari conversation :( Hopefully something in ME3

Just completed it now. WOW what a game! Is one of the best I have played. How long did it take you guys? It took me 18 hours and thats including recruiting everyone, doing all their side quests and fully upgrading the Normandy. Hope there will be some good DLC out soon.

Just completed it on insanity and everyone survived :D

Vent:Legion
2nd Squad Leader:Miranda
Sheild:Samara
Escort:Mordin
Final:Garrus and Miranda

I tried Jack with the shield, but since she wasnt loyal someone always ended up dying

Insanity is a nice change but some of it is so frustrating. The Geth Colossus fight was a pain but doable with some decent tactics. But the Collector Trap on the ship was just ridiculous, bots standing in stupid places to get raped by 2 Scions and the Harbinger just working his way to stand right in front of you and knock you out from behind cover (usually after posessing the enemy you had just taken down to 5% health).

Wow just finished and can't wait for ME3. Bit anticlimatic the final level though it sets everything up nicely. Going to have a try on insanity... not sure if thats a good idea.

So much simpler to play with an existing ME2 char just because of the higher level, not that it isn't doable to starta new char but early on the severe lack of skills can be a pita...
Most of its a challenge, some of it is just a lesson in frustration.

How on earth did it take me 36h, I did all quests I could find and didn't waste much time doing nothing.

I found the game to be good but somehow I remember being more excited when playing ME1.

Maybe my time code on my save was wrong. I did all the obvious quests that i could find too. Played on the normal difficulty, maybe that affected my time?

That depends if 'all side quests' includes all anomolies. Because theres no way you could do all them too in 18 hours, assuming you paid any attention to what was been said.

Still find it strange how the Rachni Queen didn't have any influence in this game, though I guess this is something we may experience in ME3...well I hope.

I have to say I thought some of the over-arching decisions essentially appeared to make no difference to the game in general and in all honesty that was fairly disappointing. I mean sure people seemed to know what I had done etc but any major impact really wasn't evident.

ME3 must surely be where all this comes into play but I dunno

nah i reckon it'll only have smallish effects in ME3 too, if you let wrex live you'll see a few krogan in the final ME3 battle, let rachni-queen live, you'll see some rachni and a couple of different cutscenes
id love to be wrong though... just the way bioware seem to be working in ME2, DAO etc

35 hours, and that was without exploring the post-endgame.
It wasn't thorough, but was enough to keep everyone alive.

Now looking forward to hammerhead.

Woot, just finished it (37 hours), thought it was awesome and roll on ME3!

Vanguard:

Vent:Legion
2nd Squad Leader:Garrus
Sheild:Samara
Distraction: Garrus
Escort:Grunt
Final:Garrus and Tali

No one died \o/ Contemplating starting ME1 as renegade since I was full Paragon for ME1/ME2. Sniper ? :D
