Anyone who read the Mass Effect novels, you might want to skip this latest one
I really wonder how BW will respond to the negativity...Anyone who read the Mass Effect novels, you might want to skip this latest one
Revelation, Ascension, Retribution - all good, bearing in mind they're video game books so don't expect mind blowing writing and characters. But they're consistent within themselves and give insight into characters like Anderson, Saren, TIM, *edit - "queen of omega"* (weird that's censored on these forums! ), and book only characters too. Well worth reading. Not good then? Not read any of the novels

Deception - from what I've read it just defecates on pre-established lore and characters, and is just badly written in general. See here
“Whoa!” a voice said, as Gillian increased her
pace. “What’s your hurry human?” a turian inquired,
pacing along next to her. “You need some happy?
They call me the sandman. And my stuff is red. Real
red. Ten credits for some sweet dreams.”
I would rather they not bother with big names tbh, the problem with that is that it limits them with dlc/expansions, so you have ME2 dlc where nobody says a word all through it and no Illusive Man or any of the main characters.

Yeah, I recently played through all the dlc, only Shepard had new lines and your squadmates would say exactly the same thing in exactly the same tone each time, it was disappointing.
