*** Mass Effect 3 ***

So what happens if you don't have the save files for ME1 and ME2?

Most likely some things won't be accesible, but there may be a system that in which it will ask you through a story option to decide what you've done.

I'm not sure though, I've lost all my saves and I'm not doing it all over again so hopefully there's something there. ME1/ME2 saves around the web are nowhere near close to what I chose :(

If you don't have a save, I expect that it'll make some assumptions and ask you some questions, like in ME2.

Nothing. They never did much anyway.

Meh, I enjoyed it.

I always thought it was a nice touch to bump into old friends/enemies and have a chat about the old days, or have a previous choice mentioned in a conversation tree.

No idea why anyone expects anything more than this - its never going to happen. You can't re-write large chunks of the game based on that variety of choices.

It's not like most of the choices were that meaningful though. Does it really matter if you spare or kill Fade on the Citadel, for instance? I mean sure, you do bump into him again but it's fairly inconsequential. The Rachi\council\Krogan\Quarian stuff might be more significant in ME3, but that remains to be seen...

Add the Geth to that list of potentially consequential decisions

I've watched a few Youtube vids where people played so badly everyone died, including Shephard. Not entirely sure how you could import that save

Anyone played the demo yet? i got early access yesturday from the facebook game. Was preety awsome but i died loads maybe becuase it was hard to get used to the 360 controllers when i am so used to playing on pc.

Why would you play the demo? It has the start of the game, so when you get to the full release, you will have to replay the start again. Plus between the demo and the game release is like 3 weeks. I doubt the demo is big enough to take 3 weeks, so you will end up with a hiatus which will be worse than just waiting.
I can see people who haven't played ME before getting it though.

tbh..... I will be playing the demo 2moz. I know its going to kill me and make the wait worse but I can't help it. I need to do it !!!!

Plus i'm interested to see how the combat actually plays like.
