ending this now - the solution has been given.
what the hells up with the install, i put me disc in it asked for code i inputted it, it now wants to download the whole 10gb online, i contacted support they said i should not of entered the code.

I put the disc in, it installed Origin (again, even though it was already installed 
) then updated Orgin (as it had just overwritten the already updated Origin install ), then asked for the code, input the code, started installing from the DVD, then DVD2, date check activation. Done.

I was Vanguard in ME1, and ME2, but I didn't like what they did to Vanguard in ME2, so I switched to Sentinel in ME3, enjoying the new stuff to play withHolographic Explody Armour is great fun, and you don't have to spend so much time ducked in cover.
You mad? Vanguard in ME2 was so much better because it was a far more unique playstyle. There wasn't a great deal seperating it from any other combat/half combat orientated class in ME1.
No point trying to excuse them. If Star Wars was taking priority they should've pushed ME3 back to improve it.
As for the talk of textures. Please tell me the demo isn't indicative of it? Andersons uniform was abysmal. It looked painted on and the detail, particularly on his awards/medals, was atrocious.

I could probably finish ME2 off tonight if I really went for it. Done all of the loyalty missions except Legion(who I haven't picked up yet). I still have the following to do, but I'm not sure I will do all of it tbh:

Legion Loyalty
Final Mission
Overlord
Shadow Broker
Arrival
Firewalker(not gonna bother)
Plus pretty much all of the miscellaneous quests.(agian I will probably leave them)
I reckon I could just about do it all tonight, maybe tomorrow moring, then that will mean starting ME3 on Sunday. Shame as I really wanted to start ME3 tonight.
Really enjoyed this playthrough though, enjoyed it much more than my ME1 play. Playing as Infiltrator and will probably continue that to 3 as well.

The funny thing being, it still has much better textures than Star Wars 
A few too many games these days, as in big games like ME3, star wars which should have been stand out big budget are almost going backwards with textures and adding everything together. Where added detail isn't a texture itself standing out from say a uniform, but just a dodgy addition to the original texture. We started moving away from that a decade ago, where a medal would be a different texture on top of the uniform with depth and detail, and now its back in the uniform texture, no depth and uber low res detail and looking awful.
The more I think about everything you do in ME3 the more I realise they've mostly made a mockery of all the main decisions throughout the game. What i ME1 seemed like a huge decision and we got the impression from the dev's that it would have a game changing effect in ME3. They could have made ME3 MUCH more influenced by these big decisions with almost no extra effort, but they basically didn't. Its all token gestures which are essentially irrelevant. The side missions are so painfully easy/boring and mostly scanning planets.
The main missions are pretty damn good, and I like a lot of the maps/locations and combat isn't bad at all. The problem is the story really doesn't feel right, at all, throughout the whole game, it just doesn't make sense at all.

Yeah I'm going to have to start it tomorrow or sunday. Bloody demo coming out meant I put off finishing my main Shepard again. Luckily I left her on Ilium in ME2, so it's only taken me a couple of days to finish. One question about ME3 preorder items - if you've already got the N7 warfare pack, is there any point in redeeming the M55 argus? I mean the N7 pack already contains the argus right, so that code is useless?
Probably EA's doing, or the mmo cost so much to develop they couldn't afford to let ME3 bake any longer.
It is I'm afraid. People have got Texmod working with ME3, so community to the rescue again I expect, like these for ME1 & ME2 :

Thanks for that, kinda peeved theres no collectors editions available now other than overpriced sellers. Should have bought it earlier on I guess but I had more important stuff on my mind than me3...

If you use the optimized pack for characters, linked below, it only adds around 1-2min to the loading time. That's just with a standard 7200rpm drive, not an ssd :
