Doing the same, full insanity renegade Femshep on twitch and loving it... That's after completing ME1, 2 and 3 all multiple times for different endings, romance plots and character builds lol.

Regarding perf on planets.... Yikes it's bad for some reason. I'm on a RTX Titan, 3950x at 4.3ghz all core, 32gb 3600mhz memory playing maxed out at 1440p and been over 100fps with ease. But meeting a thresher maw on a planet made my fps tank to the mid 50s and the jankyness was horrible.

100% agree, desperately need an FOV slider. I'm sure you can edit a cfg file to achieve same result though, you could on the old ME1 steam version.

No config edit unfortunately (vanilla ME1 required a mod or Flawless Widescreen), but NexusMods has a FOV mod that replaces a single file for ME1 Legendary Edition.

I normally agree with WaB/Mack on most of his views but I stopped listening when he said "I can't believe that in a lot of peoples eyes, this is the pinnacle of gaming" - he's chatting absolute BS and he knows it. He is without a doubt old enough to remember how clunky ME games were until combat was much better refined in ME3. Mass Effect has never been about awesome gameplay - it was about the story and the journey, not to mention the characters. So he's either got that mixed up or he's just got memory loss or todays fickle gamers are dumber than I thought and are running off rose tinted specs and coming up with 'GOTY!' comments.

He is also slating a game that is an RPG and not a typical FPS. Call of Duty this ain't fs.

Edit: Thought I'd add that I haven't got LE. Refuse to buy it until it is lower priced than it is atm because I do think it is completely overpriced.

Just gone to get Liara....not so much of a spoiler here but great to see the trick to get the mako through the gap in the rocks still works. Made this section so much easier than what it would have been especially on Insanity difficulty.

For those on the fence about the price and whether it's worth it... If you can afford to there is currently no better way to play through the trilogy for new and veteran players. If you understandably don't want to pay the current price, give it a while. The price will drop.

That's me basically, would so love to get this but £54.99 IMHO pitched rather high for three quite old (and yes, gold) games of which ME2 and ME3 still work okay anyway.
I'm sure by the Xmas Steam sale it will be down to around £30.

Edit: Has the Multiplayer requirement to max your forces been removed from ME3?

People wouldn't watch these Youtubers if they gave nice reviews of games though. They rant for the sake of viewership as they exploit the rather undesirable human trait that sees us take glee in tearing things down. How can you trust a review when the reviewer has this kind of agenda? I don't watch any of them for this reason.

It’s been common for many games to have cutscenes in a 16:9 format for many years now. That someone could base their buying decision on such a small matter speaks volumes to their pettiness.

I know what you mean completely and WaB is literally the only reviewer I occasionally watch on YT because a lot of the time I don’t mind his rants as they’re on target. I don’t really use YT anymore due to the ads (on mobile) and the fact that game/film spoilers appear on my home page regularly - god I hate folks who use those thumbnails.
 
Look up Vanced Tuber on the app store, it's what I use on mobile.

Just had fond memories in ME1 classic of driving around the mountains on planets, think I will have to get this today just for that.

Could have used this information earlier lol. I did get 1 shot by the sniper guy. But aced it second try, I think now being able to actually use all weapons without the horrible sway on the sniper has made insanity difficulty much easier. Especially for fights like that one.
