Mass Effect Legendary edition (Remastered 1,2 & 3)

One if not my favourite game series of all time but the gameplay, especially ME1, has not aged well. Maybe a bit of a stretch to see a combat system a bit more fluid like Andromeda (one of the few things that game did well) implemented into the original trilogy but I'd want more then just improved visuals to spend money on it.

I'll keep an eye on it, with some small hope that they will be desperate to make up for the disappointment they've dished out recently.

Loved the first ME. But felt it took a wrong direction after. I wanted more RPG, instead they striped that out and went more action which meant I did not enjoy it as much. The story of the first game was awesome, went downhill after that also.

I will give this a go at some point. As long as you don’t need a origin account and it is steam only, then they will have my money.

Your out of luck then. All EA games on steam including using the EA play service require an Origin Acount. If you dont have one allready linked to your steam account, you will be prompted to create one.
You do not need to download the origin client, use it or the origin store.
A lightweight version will be downloaded for steam to use that just supports logging and the minimum connectivity required to be connected to and tracked on origin.

Mass effect 2 is one of the best games I have ever played, perfect balance of rpg, story and action. If they dial it up to 11 and use the Andromeda engine I will be happy.
The Andromeda story was rubbish, but it was executed nicely and was a good engine.

Interesting. I did not know that. May grab it then. Is UPlay like that also, or do you need the full blown client which then you load the game from that?

Uh-oh. I'm posting before I watch. I don't know what to expect...

EDIT: So it looks no different to the existing PC version in my eyes. The textures may look a bit clearer because of the 4K resolution but they don't seem new. And the video cutscenes looks like the original 720p Bink video.

Might give it a miss then, was expecting more than that. At least until I can pick it up on Steam for a tenner or less anyway as only interested in the first game. The other two just do not come close imo.
