Mass Effect trilogy

I would give my right arm for an updated ME1 with the combat mechanics of 3. 1 had the real depth and plot, 3 played far better though.

2 is kind of that but not quite, the story doesn't have the depth of 1 and the combat isn't quite as solid as 3.

I'd agree with that, though I've never gone back to see the Extended Ending (nor have I done any of the DLC I've bought) so it'll be interesting to see how much better it feels now.

I've just completed a second run through of the trilogy, this time playing mainly renegade. I found that the extended ending and the Leviathan DLC made the ending much more logical and therefore tolerable.

I have to say that although ME1 is probably my favourite due it feeling more RPG-like and setting up all the back story, it is quite a shock to go back to the old combat mechanics after the newer games.

I've played through twice. Once with a bit of both, once with full Paragon. I was considering a replay with full renegade and playing as a female. Just need to find the time for this now. Maybe Christmas hols
