As title really, looking to try a new game and this has intrested me, is it worth a shot and is the story good enough to hold attention?

The storyline is good, but far too short and the sidequests feel like an afterthought. That said i didn't regret buying it but i was disappointed because i expected more from a bioware RPG.

The one main irritation I had about the game was that the height maps on the planets were just insane, it could take your buggy half an hour to get over some mountains, the main storyline is pretty legendary tho

Im thinking about playing this too.

Ive got a habit of buying new games when the come out but then not installing them. Although i completed Bioshock last night so i need something new to play.

Its great, but as said, the main quest you can finish in about 6-7 hours.

KOTOR is better and longer, i dont know if KOTOR2 is fixed properly, i got about 1/3 of the way through and got stuck, so may pick it up again.

i found the first 30-60mins incredibly boring and having probably chosen the wrong type of class, i couldnt be bothered re-rolling knowing i'd have to go though and hour of tedious dialogue again ...

i will defo go back and give it a good going over when i get time... probably a victim of over hype

I found the same, found it tough to get into, indeed i started it on the 360, but never got past half an hour, i found the story a bit confusing at first, but after you get through the citidel, it really opens up.

Most fun game ive played since KOTOR for sure.

I would say it is definitely worth a dabble.
Great graphics and decent storyline. Also different choices in the dialogue which affect the storyline/character stats and various character classes add some replay vaule.
Worth a punt for sure.:)

The story is very good but a little short - It finishes when it starts to get interesting. At least it will be continued in the sequel so remember to keep and save games!

Graphics are a little rough to start with but they can be tweaked.

I would recommend it as it will certainly hold your attention for 15 hours plus

As much as i tried to get into it, i couldnt. Had a nice "epic" feeling, but things seemed to progress ridiculously quick, side quests were meh, and the combat just felt artificial. I just couldnt enjoy it :(

It's worth playing through once or twice. But on the second time around I just wanted to skip through the whole city part after the first intro mission.

Looks nice, sounds are good, but i prefer NWN2 to be honest, i found the going a little sluggish and the plot a little hard to follow as i was running all over the place with no idea what was going on until someone started shooting at me...

Its worth a go, just not for everyone. I did only play it for about an hour.
