** MASSIVE NVIDIA PRICE DROP!!! **

Regrettably gigabyte have given us tracking and it's not looking like they will make it today.

We will however receive them tomorrow apologies for the delay

meh a little offtopic, I'll post in CS section

Coil whine is a fault.

Surely you'd send back as a fault as then your shipping is covered???

I was always told that it was normal but a bit of a 'grey area'

Interesting :)

We predict they will sell out for sure.

We've now done over 1000 units since launch on Friday.

Glad I preordered then. They are cracking cards, I've toppled dozens of 780Ti KPE scores, some even on sub zero on the reference blower alone. Anyone who thinks they're not worth it is kidding themselves

If you do have a card with coil whine it's always worth checking with another rig if possible to ensure it isn't just down to the combination of components as often people send cards back for coil whine and the company returns it as working since they can't reproduce it on their test benches.

not unless you find one in the mm for 250 or less.

for most people a 780ti is an option if they already have one.

I'd probably go for the 4gb and a slightly lower clock but ofcourse the 780ti is a good card and is at a good price. i just think the 970 is priced too well :)

I cannot see much demand for the 780Ti, its lack of next gen DX compatibility will always hamper what is a dam good card.
For me, I would rather take a 970 unless the Ti was less money and I think it will drop like a stone soon to those levels based on Today only alone sales.

I think all 700 series are dx 12 compatible. It's software not hardware issue
