Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

ANOTHER low scoring PP MBS game!

France v Albania is on the MBS cards tomorrow. Surely France have to destroy the Albanians right?

I was hoping Portugal were going to thump Iceland and I could rake in the free bets.. Better luck tomorrow hopefully, although it will probably end up 1-1!

Well I won't get any more bets on tonight. My daily update for the newcomers and skeptics.

I'm sitting on £230 profit right now, have £91 in bets placed to come and also have £70 in free bets to place. I started on Thursday. I'm fortunate enough to be able to put a couple hundred more into the exchanges early which gets you going a bit quicker, but regardless. Give it a go.

Teach you to gamble :p

:D:D:D

Quite glad I wasn't on it now!

Well that result has just lost me about £40 worth of underlayed price boost profit  Can't rely on anyone (or any team) these days!

A guy in the FB group lost £120 so be thankful!

Another question to those in the know. I've just activated £30 free bets on Betfairs sportsbook, do I need to create another exchange account with Smarkets or can I just place a bet on sportsbook and then lay on the Betfair exchange?

Don't bet and lay at the same place, use Smarkets for your free Betfairs bets.

I'm fairly certain you don't want to be betting against yourself at the same place. As I said earlier, I much prefer the Smarkets site. Its not got all the weird and wonderful bets to lay against but its got plenty and the site is nice and clean.

THIS

Also try to think about where to place your free bets and on what.

If you continually bet on football ( which I do) I don't use free bets on horseracing etc. To start on Horse Racing I would go slow and not promo abuse initially.

Also think about the odds, sure you want high on your free bet, but unrealistic odds point to a potential match bet mentality to lock in profit IMO.

Finally look at what bookie offers are on the following day. If you plan to do a qualifier bet on it (I.e that France Albania game today at PP), don't use your free bet to go for an Albanian win if you are going to go for the France win later.

I have no science to what I am saying and others MBs may have a different view, this is just how I view it to try and avoid a gubbing.

Hit 10 grand in just under 10 months target achieved.

Congrats!

I'll keep my fingers crossed. Would be nice to clear off the card debt I have from doing the house up. Got the money in the bank to do it but would rather keep that for myself!

Potentially a decent MB day with the France game for me.

Skybet = £3 free bet every time France win
Betfair = £5 every time France win
Paddypower MBS = £5 per goal (this has not been a great tournament so far for this promo)
Coral = £10 on correct score on Russia game

Just waiting for the Ladbrokes promo to appear for the £20 inplay = £10 in play free bet, then my MB is done for the day.

Not touched Ascot at all yet because none of my bookie accounts IMO have enough of a horse history to me to start promo abuse.

See to my mind a promo is there to get you interested in it in the first place and get you betting. So I use the promo and then place another one that's not in the promo, or is just a mug bet.

Yes you may very well be right buddy. Mug betting and gub prevention isnt a science it seems.

Aside from the things I mentioned earlier I do the following :

1)Bet on my fav football team all the time irrespective of promo (obviously laid off) with my favourite bookies.
2)Try and do inplay when I can
3)Mug bet on a ratio with promos normally 2 promo = 1 mug (again no science with this)

Another thing I do (which is gambling) is set aside £25 each month and follow one of the tipsters on twitter. Always inplay. Been doing this for a couple of months. Last month I made £1000 quid off it (they usually do a £25 to £1000 challenge), this month I blew out on bet 4.

Again this is gambling, and I do this with my fav bookie that I promo abuse continually.

I tend to do the promos, then mug a couple of quid in the casino. TBH I think some gubbings are completely random though.

Any more takers for the Wincashlive offer mentioned earlier in the thread (offering England to win against Wales @ 11.0)?

download anydesk, run as exe on work machine, remote home.

EDIt:

Good bwin offer going for new signups. upto £50 back if your first bet loses. £40 profit.
https://www.yesbets.co.uk/tutorial/2296/

I might be doing it wrong but I think the £40 profit figure is quite unlikely. The biggest profit comes from your back bet winning in the first place, but its on unlikely things like france drawing with albania :p

Still, I should make about 25 quid profit after the intial loss and then using the free bet which isn't bad still.
