Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

Got a free £5 from Paddy for using the mobile site, and a free £10 with Stan James if I placed 3x £10 bets before Sunday.

I might be doing it wrong but I think the £40 profit figure is quite unlikely. The biggest profit comes from your back bet winning in the first place, but its on unlikely things like france drawing with albania :p

Still, I should make about 25 quid profit after the intial loss and then using the free bet which isn't bad still.

Yeah, it's near £40 if your weird bet comes in, about £30 if your lay wins the first bet. Considering one of them is Wales to beat England It's not as long as you might think!

[Brag]Won £220 today just on the extra place offer on the 17.00 Ascot :) [/sorry]

Details!

Any more takers for the Wincashlive offer mentioned earlier in the thread (offering England to win against Wales @ 11.0)?

Decided to go for it, not sure about laying this one as its a bookie I've not heard of and don't fancy getting shafted.

Did the odds show as normal still? Like a poster earlier, I don't want to put the bet on until I know it will be at the boosted odds. When I click on the banner with the promotion, it just takes me to the registration page.

EDIT - never mind, found more substantial T&Cs. Assume I calculate as a normal bet with normal odds for now and adjust in my diary when the result is in.

Had a decent return today from France winning, Griezmann scoring and wrong score predicted on the Russia Slovakia game. Turned it into £25 worth of free bets!

Made a start on Bet365 tonight as I wanted to get in on the £50 in play offer for the England match tomorrow, £50 on a draw in England v wales, then two £25 on horses at 7 and 4.5. Hopefully England win and my horses dont! Also got my bwin bet off too.

Keen on teh Bet365 offer: Place pre-game £50 on England vs Wales and get in play risk free £50 bet.

Bet pre-match on England £50 @1.5
Bet in-play on Wales/draw £50(free) @2.5

If England win £75.00 + £50 = £125
If Wales win/draw £125 - £50 = £75

Am I missing anything?

So i started this yesterday and am up £60, im doing it slow to get started but have some questions to see if im doing it right.

I'm just going step by step through yesbets offers at the moment, signing up, placing qualifying bets then using the free bets and cashing out and moving on. I've only really done horses and a 1-2 footy games as they are over quick and i can move on faster.

If my back bet wins then sometimes my exchange is pretty low and i can't lay anymore bets, so i withdraw from the likes of coral and then deposit that back into betfair. Is this good practice?

Also, gubbing, is that where the bookies don't pay out? So could potentially lose a lot of your cash from the exchange?

Thanks :)

Plus I think bet365 don't look too kindly on that tactic.

Camalot - as long as you don't go crazy and drain the whole bookie account, you should be fine. I always leave money in there when I do unless I'm really desperate :p. I believe some bookies can with hold winnings but in most cases they simply ban you from promotions.

It's where they restrict your account to not be able to take part in offers or restrict stakes to like 10p (which is my max stake with Boylesports after a horse won me £400  so you can't make any decent money. Funds aren't at risk though

It's your only option until your bank grows unless you're willing to inject a lot of your own cash to speed up the process.

I've tended to not take it all out of bookies, leave some in there for more bets.

But yeah. The only way to get around that early is to dump more into your exchange.

Anyone not on the yesbets facebook group really should join. Its private so none of your friends will think you've got a problem and its really useful.

Many thanks, ill be joining tonight!.

Just taking it slow and going through the yesbets guides.

If the profit i made yeaterday ia regular then ill be seeing 1k in a month, cant believe ive only just looked into this.

cant believe ive only just looked into this.

That's my feeling. I looked into it a good 2 years ago and thought it was just another false get rich quick scheme (understandable when the headline of PA is "never worry about money again!").

Could have a house deposit by now if I'd started then

Struggling to understand the bwin promotion today.
Summary: Strategy: Place £50 pre-match matched bet & £50 in-play matched bet, min odds 1.50 for both bets. (place in-play bet as 1st bet refund to guarantee profit)

So if i bet and lay £50 before the match i am £3 down. (not bad to get a free £50 bet!)
What do i then back in play.. do i double up on the original bet? Does this also need laid?
Confusing :(
