How do I place mug bets through YesBets

Is there a way?

I place my mug bet like I would under the qualifying bet section for the bookie and just change the stake to depending on how much I want to mug bet.

I've been match betting for just under 2 weeks now and currently in profit of around £137. I'm taking it slow as I would prefer to keep the profit coming (aiming for £200-£250 per month), only matchbetting football and have benefitted from a few offers given by some of the book makers already.

Can anyone advise on the casino cruncher subscription on yesbets? Is it time consuming? Does it border on gambling? As much as I have free time I’ve told myself I don’t want to spend hours in front of my pc on casinos to make a few pounds per evening and don’t want to be suckered in,

Not entirely sure this is the right place to ask, but I'm sure someone here will know the answer.

So I was having a read through this thread and it sparked my interest, I did a bit of matched betting for a while and built up a few hundred quid, but then got bored and gambled it all, ended up winning a few quid (£5000 jackpot), withdrew what the site said was "real money" (as opposed to the bonus balance which was £3900)

they are refusing to payout saying I needed to play through my bonus plays, but when I withdrew that cash it prompted saying 'by withdrawing this balance you will forfeit your bonus balance", so I'm confused, am I owed this money or not? fairly sure I could have used the balance to match bet for years, but it was all rather boring :p

Not strictly matched betting but been trying to fine tune my "laying the draw" strategy. It's certainly nothing new or startling but sticking to certain parameters it's been a good weekend on the football.

Is the casino cruncher worth paying for on yesbets?

Im a premium member at moment
Personally I'm not sure that it is. I changed my monthly subscription to annual (as it is effectively 2 months free) so get the casino cruncher as part of that. Don't use it all that often though.

Was a little put off by yesbets today. I seem to have noticed (I haven't been keeping track, but it feels this way to me) that there have been a few more "bragging" posts about big casino wins - not necessarily risk free or low risk offers either, but using one's own money. I mentioned that I personally don't feel that there's much place in a risk free matched betting group to post big headline numbers for casino wins but was shot down by several people quite quickly for not being supportive and not having a right to say how people should "reinvest" their matched betting profits.

I suppose I feel that a matched betting group should revolve around finding and sharing matched betting opportunities with the odd low risk/risk free casino offer chucked in, but it's getting a bit a bit of a "who made the most money" vibe.

Couple of former colleagues have been doing this for some time, has been a tidy profit for them so far. Think one of them has been doing it for several months now and is a couple of grand up.

Aye, bragging about big wins has little value to anyone and at worst could be dangerously misleading for some. Gambling with "house" money is the worst sort of mental accounting.

it's nothing startling but picking the right match, sticking to my own values I look for and trading out asap on the 1st goal is working ok so far.

Time will tell.

Whilst not matched betting, and technically frowned upon I had a little flutter last night.

Watching the Man City game, the odds for a win was something daft like 1.08. Huddersfield scored a lucky goal in the first 6mins then was able to hold them off for the next 15. The odds for Man City jumped to 1.45 so I stuck a bit of my exchange profits on. Managed to get the bet on, and Man City jumped to warp speed to kill the game 5-1. Nice £150 profit made.

I posted the Bingo win, but that was a risk free one. It doesn't bother me in the slightest if people want to put money into Casino's, win big and then post about it. I'm fully aware that probably 90%+ of the time you'll only see the good side of it. I can however see how it could be appealing to someone who is not 'bet/casino/money savvy' so to speak. I'm fortunate in that I'm tight as a ducks bum so any money I win goes into my MB account and stays there haha!

How do you do this Boo? Do you pick games that should not end in a 0-0, lay the draw on an exchange and then cash out when a goal is scored (or see the game through for a potentially bigger profit)?

yes - pretty much that.....using some parameters of which games, along with some stats from soccerstats.com etc - I select my games, lay the draw. Basically as soon as it shows a profit, usually if the favourites score first, then I trade out there and then. That's my one rule I'm sticking with. Even if it's £3/4 etc - profit is profit. As we speak - Sevilla v Athletic Bilbao match - goal for Sevilla. Layed the draw at 4.2 pre game, draw is now 7.0, traded out for a profit of £8. Got 3 games on the go tonight.

Interested in this, could you explain a little further?

I completely agree, there was a mega brag post this morning, I think I know who you are now on there, ha! :)

Personally I've refrained from posting about punt wins because it defeats the whole purpose of what Yesbets is about, and as you say it seems like a contest of who made the most money.

A large majority of the community simply cannot sit at the computer all day like some of those folk do, and when they try to make out everyone should be making X amount of money I can't help but facepalm (I had one chap who seemed to get frustrated at the fact I took a higher QL and that I should be aiming for much less - the only problem is I'm not going to spend my whole day observing the market to secure a lower QL just because he can).

There comes a point where you can see which members are spending hours and hours a day on MB, not something I'll ever do, end of the day it's top up spending money and will never substitute salary income.
