Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

No extra place wins but >£200 profit and >£100 of unused free bets :D

Need to cover more of the field for the extra place races tomorrow.

Made £92 today and still have £100 worth of free bets to redeem, so probably about £170 overall.

Mind me asking how you made that, across a number of races?

Im about £25 up, with only one more BetWay free bet to use. That said, i did only pay out real cash on the first race and a little on the last (lack of time). I hope to get a little bit more time later, although a lot of offers seem to be hope of faller, finish 2nd etc.

Just bet on a lot of races. Different selections with different bookies across the top 4 horses or so. Got very lucky yesterday. The one race where Apple's Jade beat Vroum Vroum Mag into second made me about £70 in free bets.

Missed most of yesterday action. Limited time today.

Trying the High 5 on the first race via William hill on the favourite (Yorkhill) - QL is £2.20 at the moment. Not really tried this before.
Skybet refund QL is 0.10p

shocking day today had a few matched bets on to get the free bets and most of them won, so instead of getting a £20 free bet just ended with a £1.46 profit :( gutted

I had a decent day by contrast. £100 refund on losing bets at Betfair got me £75, Sky best odds winner got me £40 more than the break even qualifier I was expecting. 13:30 Sky bet lost so £18 made from that free bet, £4 from my Coral bet and collect plus £35 from my enhanced odds 888 sign up. An effective arb from the Betfair 'back a winner at 3/1 or more' for good measure too.

Still can't hit an extra place, been ages since my last. On the plus side, £625 of free bets to use. Last chance saloon tomorrow.

Just started doing this again. Made 32 quid from 2 free bets but betfred messed up and let me withdraw my winnings but then the horse I bet on got disqualified so they had my winnings back but not before the withdrawal was made so now I owe betfred 80 quid!

damn - another day another missed sky bonus!!

Struggling to find a reasonable QL, backed the favourite in the end - wins......lol - no free bet for me! also another £120 out the exchange!

Backed the favourite on Hills as well for the High 5 promo. laid on exchange!!

Given that the SkyBet was refund if your horse didn't win, you could have just treated the first bet as a risk-free bet, i.e. treat it as a stake-not-returned bet. If the horse lost, you then treat the free bet as a qualifying bet and you have made money; if the horse wins, you have underlayed the exchange stake so have made profit.

Bit late now, I know :p
