Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

PA gets a lot of bad press, not sure why but for that reason I wouldnt use them.
What does the match catcher do?

It's for getting matches for horse racing, it updates in real time so you dont have to be manually searching all time. You get set up alerts as well when a good match is found for a particular race/bookie etc. It's basically a time saver.

What bad press does PA get? I've never had a problem with them personally.

I really like them but think their price puts some off and think I have seen negative comments about their leadership. Never had a problem and like the community.

Grand National next week :D

That sounds pretty good actually. When I say bad press, it seems to get slagged off a lot by ex-members on other matched betting site forums.

Well that's good, PA have dropped charging for Acca and Match Catcher - all included in the £17.99 monthly price tag now :)

Flipping inter milan and liverpool - Went from having a potential 3 from 4 accas with 1 stake returned to a 3 stake returned and 1 loss.

Grrr. overpaid wimps.

P.S. Yeah I know it's all about the E.V., but still.

Similar situation last night. Arsenal were going to let me down but was on course to have 4 out 5 come through until Liverpool decided to concede at the end.

Extra place race today and weekend-esque reloads. Plus bet365 are returning up to half your stake for each way bets for the Grand National (up to £125) :D.

Hi all

Just a quick bit of advice please

I'm sure you've all probably seen the news with the Dortmund bus?

I actually had a £20 free one backed and layed for that to be a 2-2 result, Betfair still have it open and have adjusted the date to take the postponement into account

Unfortunately mobilebet cancelled it! So I'm trying to get them to return it so I can place it again... BUT I think simply incase I miss an email from them, or if I get busy with something tomorrow and don't get a chance to re-place it... Then I'll easily potentially lose out on about £200 if a 2-2 result actually happens - not a risk I'm willing to take

Am I correct in saying I simply BACK the 2-2 result at an appropriate stake so that the 'profit' shown on Betfair will equal the liability of my lay bet? To cancel it all out.

Then I'll use the free bets on something else.

Hope someone can help / confirm please!

Was I placed at Betfair previously was £18.39 to LAY a 2-2. Odds of 15. £257.46 liability

..Please help! :D Lol

It is just really bad luck and hopefully mobilebet don't get annoyed by it lol, because these free bets have already been replaced once before just the other day as the game I placed them on got abandoned due to rain lol

is there minimum odds on the bets? cant see anything in t+cs but just want to check i'm not missing anything
I will double check

Thanks

How does that vary the situation though please? If all I'm currently trying to do is cancel out the lay on the exchange...is all the work I need to carry out not also on the exchange? Or you have a different plan?

just seeing if I can limit amount of money needed to lay the bet
Ah OK

Not sure if we've maybe misunderstood each other?

I've already placed the qualifying bet (and it settled) and I got the free bets from mobilebet.

Conditions for the qualifying bet are:

qualifying bet required at minimum odds of 1.8 in any sportsbook market

Then I placed the free bet on Mobilebet and layed it (as normal) at Betfair which was the "18.39 to LAY a 2-2. Odds of 15. £257.46 liability"

So do I not just BACK 2-2 at X amount on Betfair to cancel out the £257.46 and temporarily forget about mobilebet (since that got cancelled)?

Or have I got it wrong?

Thanks! :)

i think we are talking about totally different things, I am referring to the Leicester bet365 offer
Aha! Sorry! :D

By any chance do you know if my thinking on the above is correct? :p

So what I'm trying to do is cancel out a 'lay' that I made on Betfair, with a 'back' on the same outcome to cover the liability?
