Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

how can you make that sort of cash on casino websites? I just see them as a mugs game and the offers are useless

I've never really had any joy from casino offers. Admittedly I have only ever done the risk free ones. In the last year I made enough from these to cover my Yesbets subscription so it was worth it in that sense I guess.

We're talking casino offers right? Not using an actual online casino (luck basically)?

Definitely! I'm very risk averse so only do the risk free offers. They are usually things like deposit a certain amount and the casino will match it. You get double the amount to gamble and if you bust out you get a refund for your original stake.

It will be offers such as
100/100 with 4000 wagering
100/50 with 3500 wagering
Etc etc

The idea is to use high value spins (3 quid plus up to 5 or 6 quid, depending on max) and hit a monster (x400+ stake).

This is possible using high variable slots such as dead or alive, Jack and the beanstalk, Jurassic Park etc. These are high rtp too.

Hitting a monster will generally make it easy to clear wagering and leave a decent profit.

Obviously you're not going to hit a monster every attempt but long term, due to the bust rate and less overall wagering required you should make money. This is what generates the ev from the bonus

A lot of sites are banning high volatile slots like DOA now for wagering purposes. You're generally stuck with Netent garbage that you'd rarely see a 100x hit on.

I got extremely lucky recently winning £4k from one bonus. Took several enormous hits to clear the wagering and even then the casino tried to screw me over!

found a bet which a bookie is offering 1.25 to back and betfair is 1.14 to lay (1k of liquidity at 1.14-1.16)

ok it's a football bet which won't pay until the end of the season but am I missing something here?

Surely even with £1k on the back side and the laying off the 1.15 average - your only making £70 or so after commission? Long wait for £70. (I may have my maths wrong as on the phone!)

If there's £1k of liquidity available you'd need to back £6,350 @ 1.25 and lay £7,087.05 @ 1.14 (£992.19) liquidity to make the maximum off this.

That gives you £595.31 profit at those stakes

With a backing of £1k, you need to lay £1,116.07 @ 1.14 (£156.25 liquidity) for a £93.75 profit.

Thanks for correcting my maths!! Few month but long time to tie up £7k!

2.5 months for a (just over) 9% return tho

Then again there are two potential issues, he probably won't get anywhere near the amount mentioned above on at the bookie (I think they're just a retail operation and some new account won't be able to start piling on bets like that) also they'll likely realise fairly quickly that their line is off relative to Betfair.

First proper go at 2UP - big win! Every other blumin' attempt has been the wrong team (e.g. Brighton yesterday was an absolute killer). Still a very lucrative offer while it lasts.

Heads up for Cheltenham next week :)
