Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

This has been on my mind as well, but won't they look at all of your bank accounts? I do mine in a separate account.
Not been in this position but won't it just be as case of don't tell them? or is their a legal requirement to disclose all bank accounts and savings etc ?

Failing that you could setup the 2nd account and then link it to a new Paypal account and do all your betting transfers via paypal .

This is just getting silly now. bet365 are smashing it. £50 in-play offer last night and a £50 Ascot offer today, plus I think a further 4 (one for each day at Ascot).

I did a couple remortgages recently through a broker and I was shifting money out of my main account into the account I used for MB. He flagged it up and asked what the money was going out for and I explained, he asked to see the bank account but it didn't make any difference to the remortgages in the end. I think it helped having a good broker who is friendly with the guy he deals with at the banks though.

Probably setting everyone up for a gubbing after this week!

It's gambling with an edge, I do deposit matches on high risk casino. EV is positive long term. I don't do "straight up" gambling.

Gambling with an edge is still gambling. Don't get me wrong I fully understand the profits that can be made but be under no illusion that it can go the other way too.

Regardless, we've had this discussion a million times in here before, no point flogging that horse again. Good luck!

And I don't dispute that but EV is positive, so to put it under the same umbrella as straight up gambling is disingenous. It's the same logic as accas.

I don't know of a single person who over a large number of offers (+1000), who isn't in profit by sticking to EV+ offers. If you stick to 1% of your bank, going bankrupt is essentially impossible.

As MB becomes harder and harder, casinos are the only method to keep making money. Profit Maximiser is the best for this kind of thing.

I've been meaning to give them a go, will probably sign up in the next week or two.

Casinos are insane...

Did you win 3.5k? From an online game?

I cant even normal bet, Started with £30 went up to £80 I now have £4.09, cashed out of Brazil - Costa Rica thinking it was going to be 0 - 0 (oops) 30 seconds later they scored. :D

Safe to say i've learned my lesson, if im ever in that position again I would bank £50 and carry on with the £30, its so easy to throw it all away on that bet365 app.

In what way? You're not the first to mention this.

You can go a lot of offers without a win. This month was a complete disaster until that win, I lost 60 offers in a row. Then a small win and 40 offers in a row.

I'm now expecting something of a downswing again as I'm ~£1K above EV.

There is money to be made - well some don't think so - but you have to be very disciplined. I put the slots on autospin and leave them. I realise it is gambling in the sense you're hoping for an outcome but I don't let any emotions get into it. I see it more as an investment that goes up and down over time.

Yeah I won £3.5K but I was down almost £2K this month at some points. I had recently gone 60 offers without a win. I was just highlighting a huge win I've never seen before on this slot particularly.
