Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

Could someone please explain the Smarkets £50 risk free on the Premier League sign up offer?

Signed up yesterday and have used it to place a couple of lay bets, but not entirely sure how to claim/use/rinse the offer :D

TBH as its cash back I just placed the 5 x £10 bets on the basis that any winner is free money and nothing to lose

Made £90 on the free £10 casino bet on betvictor last night. Was a good night indeed! Only catch was you need to expend £400 in the casino before you can withdraw so I was up like £150 at one point. But im not gonna complain about a free £90.

I've been out of the game for a while, but keen to jump back in if it's still profitable - previously used Profit Accumulator, but not sure what the 'go to' is now. Any advice? @Diddums seems to be the man to go to for an invite/some links - could you hook me up via trust?

Thanks :)

Hello, I'll be home in an hour or so, I'll send them then :)

Cheers!

@Varwen : As a total beginner (started 2 weeks ago) with barely any betting experience, I'd recommend Oddsmonkey. I'm up to £204 profit since 09/04.

Awesome - sounds like it's still a go-er then! Suspect I won't have it quite that easy unless it's been so long that I get all the new signup offers again though...

Thanks mate - much appreciated :)

Finally starting this back up after saying I would for the last few months. Opening new accounts with new address, card, email phone etc but already had one flagged as a duplicate account.. Guess there's no way of getting around that pesky name/DOB without actually using another person's info!

Now that I've finished uni for the summer I've been thinking about having a go at matched betting. I've had a look and found some services that simply the process by matching the bet and lay bet - are these sites any good or should I steer clear?

I'm obviously looking to be efficient with my time and in general I don't have much interest in gambling unless I go to the races, match fight etc.

I could do with making a fair amount as my wife needs a tooth implant that being a student is unaffordable, I've read that £3K is possible over 6 months, is this realistic or are people talking themselves up?

I signed up with Yesbets and would recommend them. The tutorials are good and it really simplifies the process. It's nowhere near as lucrative as it was when I first started a few years ago, but last year I made just over £2k from it with minimal effort. Some guys put a lot more time in and obvious get much better returns than I do.

I made £294 in my first month (April) after signing up to Oddsmonkey. Very intuitive and easy to follow tutorials, however word of warning; make sure you have a decent amount of capital to start off with to be able to lay your bets enough to get decent returns. I spent over £500 in my first weekend of matched betting. I obviously got it all back a few days later, but take into account the time it takes to withdraw winnings from the various betting sites and exchanges (something I didn't consider, leaving me penniless for a couple of days haha!).

Now that I've gone through most of the sign up offers, I'm in a bit of a limbo state. The easy money is over, now it's time to do some real studying

2UP fills that limbo state nicely though it will end this month but likely return late August.

shashman - don't worry the limbo state will soon pass once you start getting loads of offers/emails from bookies/casinos. I have been doing this now since the start of march and currently have a pot of £1.6k which I wouldn't of believed if you had told me at the start of looking into this. personally I find football more profitable than the horses but like everything you have good days and bad. one or two casino wins have boosted my profits quite nicely but I haven't gone for any offers that are more than £20 buy in. well done on your profits so far!!!!!

Wow that's impressive! Well done!

I do get offers from bookies but they tend to be for things like a £5 free bet here, 5 spins there, things which barely seem worth the effort. I did look into 2Up but it was a bit daunting, with the different options. It's a much more hands-on type of betting where you need to sit there and monitor the matches you're betting on. The closest to 2up I've tried was WH's Golden Goal offer. I made £3.62 haha.

thanks man!

I found reload offers well worth doing, bet600, paddy power, coral, sky bet etc. bet600 is bet 10x£10 get £10 free bet and if you aim for 50p or less QL on each bet the profit do add up

I have been gubbed/banned from four bookies already but only big one has been betway so far so I'm just seeing how long it may last

quinnbet 5 free spins on various football and horse races I don't find so great as the odds as never that good so the QL to get 5 spins I don't see as worth it personally

skybet money back on first race on Saturdays is also great profit

I will probably leave the studying of 2Up until I get a few more gubbings and need to profit from that as I have only tried it a few times

Yep same. I made a good few £100 to start and then the reload stuff just was not worth the time.
I know it used to be much better, but I can't see how nowadays its really worth the time unless you don't have a job to go to and that £2-£3 profit means something for the 15 minutes work.

after hearing everyone wish it was as good as the old days I'm kicking myself for not starting this sooner :(

I have a full time job and kids so don't have loads of time to spare and don't get paid loads in my job so that pot I've made in just over two months is like a part time job for me. main perk I find is I can just log in and put in whatever time I want, when I want compared to feeling like I spend every hour working two jobs but I'm sure not the same for everyone.

has anyone noticed that William hill "money back if horse finishes 2nd" offers £50 per race when checked early in the day but changes to £10 per race ? I thought I was seeing things lol but someone else has pointed this out in another forum so I was just checking if anyone has been paid out for £50 per race?
