Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

Only what you bet on Betfair too. So if you back player x on Betfair for the free bets, don't lay him off on the Exchange.

All the others are fair game.

Here, 10 free spins every time a team wins a match in the premier league:

What is a spin worth?

I have never done one of these premier league 'whole season long' bets and as such I really cba to lay them. That said, they look like a real easy way to make some serious £££.

Oh......Just tipped over £1000 since Dec 2013 :).

That's the magic question. I just do those for the hell of it, if I win great, if not it won't cost me more than a couple of pounds and it makes a sport which I have zero interest in otherwise a bit more entertaining.

What are people's thoughts on ACCAs?

There seems to be two ways:

1. Lay as per the spreadsheet and stop when a selection loses.
2. Underlay the favourites to minimise loses early on (e.g. lay £30 for Man City to beat Swindon rather than £40).

On PA that James guy then also lays even if the bet is 'dead' to reduce his losses/make profit still. Parts 1 and 2 I understand but this bit, not so much. Say he had a fourfold - 1st bet lost so he should stop laying, but he may lay legs 3 or 4 to reduce his loses?

Personally I have never done ACCAs.
I also find the 'if you lose get a 50% refund' ones hard to calculate.

I'm good with my maths but only place a bet if I am totally sure :).

SL = (SB * OB - R) / (OL - CL)

For free bet on lose let R = Real value of free bet, e.g. if it's 12.50 refund then use £10

SL (stake lay), SB (stake back), OB (odds back), OL (odds lay), CL (commission lay)

£3500 won on Foxy bingo . Actually won a week ago and forgot about the few games still left to play out so logged in today to check and saw it! Won £500 on 1L and £3000 on FH in the same game - feeling a little dizzy now. Only trouble is I can only withdraw £1000 per day, £2000 per week or £3000 per month - so going to take a while to get the money out! I'll post a screenie when all the money is out.

nice one - was that with free money?

£30 deposited with £150 bonus awarded - just followed the instructions on PA but had about £30 bonus that I couldn't spend so bought a few tickets for the weekend jackpot games. Funny thing is I pulled £60 profit out already so though I was done and dusted - gladd I decided to log back in!

Nice win, nothing to do with matched betting of course, but nice win regardless.

I won £20 on Unibet Roulette (£10 refund) last night, I tend to only do the completley risk free casino offers, and normally only if I have a sportsbook account.

Although it is nice when you drop on something that's profitable in an instant.

Yeah, this was a +ev offer, not a matched bet, but I think the thread has broadened a bit with the advent of PA etc - I was doing the sign up offer so wouldn't have won it otherwise. Plus, with +ev offers, the more you do, the better the chance of hitting a big win, esp if multi accounting like I am.

Now my bank is big enough I'm hitting all the casino offers as well, even the non risk free ones - it's really boosting my profits.

Any chance of a working example, e.g. Liverpool to win @ 1.25/1.30 or something.

Yeah fairly straight forward. Lets say £10 stake, 2% commission, assumed value of freebet £8

SL = (£10 * 1.25 - £8) / (1.3 - 0.02)

So you lay stake would be £3.52

If your back wins you get £12.50 - £10 (original stake) - £1.06 (your liability) = £1.44
If your back loses you get -£10 (original stake) + £3.52 - £0.07 (commission) = -£6.55

So you are down £6.55 if your back loses but you get a free bet of £10 worth £8. £8 - £6.55 = £1.45

Other than rounding you are are in the same profit either way.

Pimping time, my app does this all for you.

BTW for this sort of offer, it makes sense to go with higher odds.

had a go at it over last week or so, made £400

had to do the full £1200 rollover on BET365 which was a pain

had 4 so far refuse me accounts as I had dormant ones for 10+ years ago

I think there might be a limit on the Max amount you can win from free spins. 100 quid. So be careful.

Side note Paddy Power going mental with refunds for 2nd place on the gees gees this week. I only got involved yesterday but landed 2 refunds for 50 quid total. Haydock today with 6 - 7 bites at the cherry.
