Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

Well that was a good Saturday! £300 profit - took nearly 4 hrs in total but not too shabby :-)

Can you breakdown your profit for me please. Really interested to see where I should be concentrating on. I only made £70 today.

If that's a single account then that's not too shabby. My profits are inc multi accounting remember.

We know that. He tells us every chance he gets. But surely with 2nd place horse and multi accounts you spread your bets rather than all on the same.

And was every account really on the same result for football ?

Not really. ladbrookes was over many markets, on WDW you could have had many choices. Chelsea to win or Liverpool to win as qualifiers were best. So if you had several accounts it would make sense to split across these rather than 'gamble' on one team
Winning. Especially as most recommend qualifiers were for Liverpool to win which meant no refund

Yeah, I see what you mean now.

I misunderstood and ending up having my qualifiers on chelsea to win and HT/FT. I was very lucky to get two refunds. He must split the results across the accounts.

I did some quick bets on some tiny horse arbs (made 30p a bet ) yesterday on 8/1 to move money to exchange. Both horses won though :(

Would have been a good day if I didn't lay !

On the Acca spreadsheet, the profit/loss cell always seems to be in the red. Is that loss ONLY if I have to lay all 5 bets? Or will I still lose even if I only have to lay the first bet.

I tried playing around with the odds and mostly always a loss. New to accas so not sure if that's normal.

Unless you massively underlay from the beginning you'll always be at a loss pretty much until the last leg...where if you've underlayed the previous legs you should be at a profit or tiny loss and be able to manipulate it so you can bet against getting the free bet.

For example you could underlay the last bet by £20 or so so that if it loses you get a £50 free bet but lose £20 but if it wins you make £7-£10 at the bookie.

I rarely gave luck with the casino and slots offers. Good weekend though; Savea got me £125 (split between two) as I didn't lay his top try scorer bet, a few horses and Chelsea losing also got me some free bets.

Some tasty Champions League offers over the next two nights :)

Paddy Power's pre £20 bet/£10 in-play free bet
Ladbrokes £25 in-play bet
bet365's £50 in-play bet (love these :D)

Did a couple of the low risk casino offers today... £30 down. Not thrilled.

Try doing a paddy power slots offer and being £270 down at the end. That really tests your confidence in the system ;-)

There were 4 paddy powers over the weekend.

I didn't lay 3 of the £20 qualifiers as they were Everton, Soton and Spurs(win both halfs) so did ok out of them.
