Through work I travel a fair bit around the LSE region but also to other parts of the country fairly regularly.
Owing to the diverse nature and broad geographic of OcUK members I'd be quite interested in hearing what "friendly" or generic words you use towards other people either in or out of work, out during the day, in the street anyway etc...
Personally, I vary from, mate, matey, dude and buddy. Some friends of mine choose the word pal and bud. Clearly some of my friends just call me **** or something like that
However, that's not what I'm curious about.
Clearly there will be difference if the person is female, so I guess luv or love comes into play too.
It'd be interesting to see what terms people have around OcUK.
I'll create a multiple choice poll as it's probably too difficult for a person to choose just one.
