Well, I went to see the Matrix reloaded the day afters its release in the UK. I must say it reached my level of expectations. However there are a lot of little bridges of information in which you need to establish yourself. For example, agent smith quoted,"I have become like you", in which me and my friends had established from the old film where smith quoted,"humans are just like a virus, they spread and multiply, consuming all resources as they go". In which then in my mind established the link that Agent Smith has in fact himself become a virus. I don't know, maybe many of you will criticise my opinions, but I'm open to your views.
Secondly, the end of the movie kinda ruined it, however there was some rather interesting paths left to be concluded, for example, where Neo stated, "I can feel them, something's changed". Then he struck down the centrnoids, and passed out. My friend DeadEnd (Colin) had an idea that perhaps that they were still in a Matrix of some kind, and he had established this, and had perhaps escaped the matrix as he passed out. Once again, this view may be open to many criticisms, but I myself agree with my friend on this.
Overall, I really enjoyed the film, apart from the lovey dovey stuff between neo and trinity, but I suppose this was what Reloaded was all about, and perhaps trinity herself will become more involved in the next release.
One other thought though, was when the "Architect" was rambling on about the "Mother" of the matrix. However, when neo stated "The oracle" he laughed, so this implied to me that the Oracle was not infact the mother of the matrix, however, I believe that persephone was the mother. As the Architect had stated that she had forced a program to the anomaly, and persephone had kissed Neo after applying lipstick, and as her husband was talking about writting a code for the dessert he made that caused the women to have an orgasm, this implied to me that this lipstick, was, in fact a program. This therefore linked back to the fact that Neo felt 'different'. Perhaps I'm wrong, but these links all seem to make sense in my mind.
