Max vi form/4770/TG 2.6GHz c10

If your ram is on air get Samsung IC. PSC and BBSE although better with cold. Are only slightly better with air and you need a good kit.

Simple Bin 1.3v core volts. Disable HTT. DDR1600 9-9-9-28 1T. All other voltages stock. CPU Ratio 50 does it boot windows. Yes!!! Great CPU. 4.9-4.8 OK CPU. Less JUNK!!! Done. 5.0ghz 1.25v top 3-4%, 5.0ghz 1.225v top 1%. The 1.25v are 6.4+ LN2 in my experience the 1.225 are 6.5+ LN2.

tried this upto 1.35v still no go!!

tell mines a dog, needs 1.36v for 4.5ghz :( I WANT A NEW ONE!!!

Is this how the chip in the 4.6+ bundle I've ordered binned? Or am I being a tad too hopeful :p

Was only after some psc/bbse to have a tinker with, wouldn't be something that would stay in 24/7, I've mucked around with hynix and Samsung ic's but never psc/bbse.

just tried to get one of the cpu's from the bundle but there having none of it :( gutted.
what i dont get, can they just look at the packaging and pick out batch numbers of known good clockers??? if they do then thats not fair, at all.

there's no guarantee without them physically testing each chip imo

just too many variables, your better of taking another gamble on a retail chip

They will most likely bin oem chips, retail always stays in a sealed package, oem however is open, notice how they have bundles ranging from 4.2 to 4.6ghz, 4.2 chips wouldn't have cut the grade the 4.6 chips did, as such were allocated to certain bundles and probably why the 4.6 bundle commands such a hefty premium as going by 8 packs method above they may only see maybe 5 chips in every 100 hit those target frequencies.

If my bundle is as good as I hope it is nick, sell your stuff and buy one :)

what mobo, the lot??? could i just dsr my mobo??

@8Pack if i order another chip what are the chances do you think of me getting a better one.
mine currently 4.5 @1.36v under a 360 rad, dellided and lapped

How long is a piece of string!!!

Come on man I just spelled out the figures 3-4% are the great chips. In the week 18 batch it seems a little higher percentage in the 5.0ghz 1.3v boot to windows bracket. All these on your rig will be 4.8.

With Haswell big lottery!!!

I dont currently know. There is some 18 still left in the channel. I have not tested for a while but I believe 20 are a fail.
