I like Phil Collins.

I posted the angry emoticon because I was angry that pototolord was angry and made you angry, not that I was angry with Phil or angry with you.

What does this even mean? But the rest of the emoji's seem to encourage brigading.
Sounds like something you'd do at a swingers party. What does this even mean?
Your so money babySounds like something you'd do at a swingers party.
I think it's a good addition, stops any posts that are just "I agree" or "+1".
Brigading in the sense I was meaning is that one of the reasons forums don't implement the like button is certain people gather a group of supporters around them. What does this even mean?
Brigading is a slang term for an online practice in which people band together to perform a coordinated action, especially a negative one, such as manipulating a vote or poll or harassing a specific person or members of an online community.
This was my initial issue with it before the feature was implemented, but on reflection, I feel it is better to have than notBrigading in the sense I was meaning is that one of the reasons forums don't implement the like button is certain people gather a group of supporters around them.
So anything that person posts all their supporters will like it.
If anyone has a different opinion to that person then all that fan group starts leaving negative comments or disliking all that persons posts, even when its on different threads.

Why No One Wants To Experience "Brigading"

I can't say that I like it, feel it lends to people just reacting to a post rather than formulating a reply.
Based on the pure post statistics, since reactions were enabled the number of posts on a daily basis has been on a steady upwards trend, as has the actual use of the reactions.
+1 100%The like or love actions on the button are good. But the rest of the emoji's seem to encourage brigading.
I've never seen brigading before. But I can now see why other forums don't implement the button at all.
I don't think the 'wow' emoji ever gets used seriously!... are you sure likes are not subverted - nothing is sacred.

:edit: I tried to be clever by adding a thumbs up emoji from my phone keyboard. Didn't work. I swear I've seen other people do it successfully. They're a good and practical way of indicating feelings without having to bump the thread itself.
I would like a :thumbsup:emoji, that'd be rad.
