I think a lovely passive aggressive rolleyes emoji would totally be in keeping with this forum, I wholly support it.

The laughing emoji is kinda dual use at this point - it's both a laughing in reaction to a funny post and laughing at reaction to a post you disagree with but perhaps in some cases where a roll eyes emoji would be more suitable.

I think it's a good addition, stops any posts that are just "I agree" or "+1".

Not completely, I do wonder if perhaps it should be a forum rule to not do that now the like button is a thing, especially if someone quotes a massive post only to throw in an emoji reply or a one-line "I agree" etc.

What's wrong with a 1 line I agree? I prefer to see some sort of written reaction.

Also, the quoting a whole post thing might just be because on mobile its not the easiest to delete bits and snip a post, not like the days of pc browsing

The like or love actions on the button are good. But the rest of the emoji's seem to encourage brigading.

I've never seen brigading before. But I can now see why other forums don't implement the button at all.

I want to be able to show dislike/disagree. Currently there's only sad or angry and neither are accurate, people get upset if you click angry on their posts.
I know what you mean, I posted a Phil Collins vid(your welcome) and @potatolord got angry. I'm not sure if he hates Phil Collins, or hates the song or hates me I'm just not sure.

I use slack all the time with a billion custom emojis. I think those allow you to be pretty creative with humour - so I would endorse a full range of emojis on here, as sacrilegious as it initially sounds.

The most multi-purpose emoji for me is the drunk emoji - it just works.

THe left side looks like the Scream mask and the right side looks like a French waiter giving you the come-to-bed eyes.
