what the hell are you getting on the guy for.
THe bbc guy asked a question he didn't want to answer, he did what he wanted and very well. He's essentially a promoter now, thats his job, he wasn't asked about any of his clients but he manged to mention all their names, get it on tv and lots of people heard it. THat means he's doing his job well. This isn't a press conference before a fight, its a random reporter asking a guy an inane question, I don't remember a law saying he had to talk to the reporter or answer his questions.
Remember, if he only answered the reporters questions, he wouldn't have been able to promote what he wanted to. Cocky, what has doing your job, well and ignoring a stupid question got to do with being cocky exactly?
Its also worth mentioning its only English fighters that are remotely interested in Hatton anymore, he had his shot, he was completely and utterly outclassed the fight wasn't even remotely close. THe rest of the world has no interest in seeing a rematch, it will be as one sided a second time, the rest of the world moved on, but England gets stuck on english sports people so badly.
A good reported would have asked a better question like, is there ANYONE you'd want to come out of retirement to fight, the answer wouldn't have been Hatton, but the answer might have been interesting to sports fans.
