Mayweather doesn't know how to answer a question

I think the reason he didn't answer the questions the reporter asked him was because the bloke gets the same questions asked everywhere he goes. He said the same thing again and again he's retired. He was out hosting his super bowl party, he was just being coky showing off.

what the hell are you getting on the guy for.

THe bbc guy asked a question he didn't want to answer, he did what he wanted and very well. He's essentially a promoter now, thats his job, he wasn't asked about any of his clients but he manged to mention all their names, get it on tv and lots of people heard it. THat means he's doing his job well. This isn't a press conference before a fight, its a random reporter asking a guy an inane question, I don't remember a law saying he had to talk to the reporter or answer his questions.

Remember, if he only answered the reporters questions, he wouldn't have been able to promote what he wanted to. Cocky, what has doing your job, well and ignoring a stupid question got to do with being cocky exactly?

Its also worth mentioning its only English fighters that are remotely interested in Hatton anymore, he had his shot, he was completely and utterly outclassed the fight wasn't even remotely close. THe rest of the world has no interest in seeing a rematch, it will be as one sided a second time, the rest of the world moved on, but England gets stuck on english sports people so badly.

A good reported would have asked a better question like, is there ANYONE you'd want to come out of retirement to fight, the answer wouldn't have been Hatton, but the answer might have been interesting to sports fans.

He asked him 2 questions the first I agree a silly question. 2nd one about JC he still didn't answer.

For that reason alone I tend to agree with the other posts rather then your one TBH :o

That cracked me up when I saw it, he just doesnt want to answer any questions about fighting because he's retired! Why should he? He's obviously intending to come out of retirement otherwise he wouldnt always avoid the question, but hes just messing about till he makes a decision IMO. ‘I like your coat, you’re real clean and I’m real mean’.

The interviewer didn't do a great job of approaching him. He just asked straight away a question he did not want to answer. If he started out by asking him what he was doing here, Mayweather might of gave the interviewer a little something.

It's bravado consistent with his personality, buoyed by being an undefeated champion of pure quality.

Hatton's "class" was shown during his pre-fight interviews - stood chewing a cud of gum, calling Mayweather a "poof" etc etc......the best talking is done in the ring, and Hatton didn't and couldn't.

+1 Couldn't have said it better myself.

Only Hatton and a few of his delusional fans think he deserves a rematch with Floyd, he was utterly outboxed.

What would be a superb fight is Cotto vs Floyd or Mosley vs Floyd, but he knows there too dangerous, the mans clever he only picks the fighter he knows he's likely to beat, he's a business man, money mayweather. :)

Hes an ignorant, arragont idiot, he probably didn't answer because hes not made up his mind... Just trying to avoid the questions he cant answer
