Mayweather Vs Pacquiao is ON !!!!!

For Mayweather to lose this fight, it'll be a case of giving Pac too much respect and handing it to him on points. Mayweather has never been a high work-rate fighter and the danger is it could slip away from him.

But...

I've always maintained that Mayweather will beat Pac through accuracy and timing. Pac will have his moments but Mayweather will beat him decisively. I personally think Calzaghe had the style to beat Pac, v-high work-rate, hard as nails and a great adaptive spoiler. B-Hop's style would also do the same. Not many fighters around LWW/WW that have the ring intelligence, speed, timing and hardness to test Pac.

Mayweather UD by 4 rounds.

I'm not sure if anybody has read this, but apparently Mayweather is going to be doing some time in prison.

What is also interesting is that the Pac vs Mayweather fight, is scheduled (possibly), for 5th May 2012.

Does anybody know about this?

The latest is now November as a tentitive day for the fight. Arum has four opponents in mind for May for Pacman, since Mayweather will most definately not be happening. Marquez IV, Cotto, Bradley and finally Lamont Peterson.

After seeing how Pacman was easily handled by Marquez on the latest of their trilogy, i think Pac-man has little to no chance. MW knows this and that's why he's calling him out without all the hoohar on drug testing. Its an easy 50mil for him. Give him something to snigger about while locked up behind bars for 90days.

IMHO the fight didnt happen previously not because of the drug tests, but cos Roger was teetering on a jail sentance too. Now all that's cleared up, lets get on with the bout, if you will !

I've almost lost interest in the fight now, with every fight these two have I become more convinced that Mayweather would do a job on Pacquiao.

Of course I would still like it to actually happen, it's the two best guys around so that along with the overlong build up means this fight will always have some intrigue to it.

totally agree a couple years ago I would have given this to Pac, but now he has lost his touch - ever slighty mind you, Mayweather is still (love him or hate him) extremely smart.

I did at one time lean towards Pacquiao, with the variety and sheer volume of punches it seemed inevitible that he'd be able to catch Mayweather in a way that nobody else had been able to.

That was until he fought Miguel Cotto. Cotto was obviously well beaten in the end, but until he allowed himself to be drawn into a brawl I thought he made a very solid start. To me that just planted the idea in my mind that Mayweather would be able to do the same only better on every front and actually do it for the whole fight.

manny or mayweather
