McDonald's

Rarely go, it’s usually a last option like on a night out or I can’t make my mind up. Not a huge fan of the standard menu, I usually go for whatever special burgers they’re doing, or a chicken legend.

If it’s a night out then it’s a 5 chicken selects meal, smoky BBQ or sweet chilli dip, large fries, and a large Fanta.

Smokey BBQ or sweet chilli for me!

I do like them cheesy bites they make at Christmas with the Rick tomato dip.

20 nuggets, in one go, just for yourself?

quarter pounder with cheese meal for me or alternatively 6 or 9 nugget meal with a strawberry shake.

I'm by no means slim, but some of the meals quoted here are just wow!
20 sounds like a lot but I reckon if you put all that junk in a blender there is only 1.5 breasts worth of meat (/connecting tissue).

A man of culture. Most importantly what dips get selected? (get it? Selects/selected, I'm too funny)

Is it a universal thing that they charge for sweet chilli dip, or just round here? You can have as much mango chutney as you want for nowt, but sweet chilli incurs a premium.

Honestly 20 isn’t that bad, if you’re not really hungry but you need to fill yourself up then 20 is the sweet spot.

From the Saver menu:
  • Double Cheeseburger
  • Mayo Chicken
Throw away the bun from the mayo chicken. Split the cheeseburger open. Insert the chicken burger and any residual lettuce, sauce etc. between the burgers. Close the cheeseburger.

Add small fries if hungry.

Add soft drink if thirsty; or

Add milk shake if drunk or depressed.

Then eat/drink as appropriate.

My standard order is
20 chimken numkets
Medium quarter pounder meal with a shake
And an apple pie.

Don't go often though as it's always a let down for the price it costs.

Wow!

I normally get a big mac and chips and share 6 nuggets with my wife. No cheese sadly, lactose intolerant. Once I've managed to get them to use the McPlant cheese, but they refused to do it after that one time, which really upset me. All their burgers are very dry without the cheese.

If it's a casual drop in (pub), I normally get a chicken mayo and a hamburger.

How the **** did you manage to eat all that??

I usually just use this:

At the self checkout machine. Either big max or 1/4 pounder and add whatever drink I fancy. McDonald's is crap and not worth anymore in cost than above.

Quarter pounder with cheese without pickles, 6 nuggets, large fries (or sometimes 2 medium). I didn't have one for a few years but these days I get one delivered every month or two.
