Mcguard locking wheel nut problem

By 'lasered' them off they probably used the commercially available, off the shelf locking wheel nut removal tools made by a tool company called lazer, which have already been mentioned in this thread...cost about a tenner IIRC.

£170 though - to expect you to pay for this is insane, since they were the ones that broke it. Did they warn you about the potential cost if it goes wrong prior to undertaking the work?

Yeah I had a quick search around for "lazer" removal of locking wheel nuts all I found was a £9 kit.

Weirdly no no warnings prior.

have you paid the £170 then ?

Nope they still got the car (they have had it since Friday!) its gone in for suspension bushes and they said the bushes keep splitting.

So I been told it will be ready tomorrow sometime guess they will want paying then shame i cant get to the garage.

They don't seem very competant if they can't even get the bushes done right!

The first thing i thought was lazer tools aswell since thats what sells in halfords.
