Was always going to be an evolution.

Easily one of the best launches I've sat through, got to watch and listen to some truly epic race cars at work!

Quite. It was always going to be an evolution of the last car given that the MP4-27 wasn't exactly slow. What they've hopefully done is iron out the few bugs that it had, and gotten better operationally.

With it being 50th year they should have gone back to McLaren orange. The silver is just boring now - still look like they're trying to keep Mercedes happy.
