Mechwarrior Online. Yes, really :)

I play a (don't laugh) Dragon mostly. Like the combination of moderate firepower, whilst not overheating, having a decent amount of armour and being able to go reasonably fast.
PPC+UAC5+SRM6/SRM4(Artemis) ftw :) capable at most ranges.
Also quite like the 2*MPL/SRM4/UAC5+AC5 combo

Just wish it had a slightly smaller profile >.<

Have just tried to add you guys

Good to get a couple of games with you last night Picktooth, sorry I had to dissapear so suddenly.

For anyone else reading and adding, my pilot name is Tyranuus.

OK, I have gotten way too into this game.

Currenty rocking a STALKER assault class: x3 PPC ER, x1 15 LRM with artemis, double heat sinks all round and maximum armour.

Got a jager mech which I use sometimes too but stalker is my fav. 3 PPC hits absolute shred mechs but can overheat so quickly. LRM is there just to distract other long range targets really.

Initially tried x4 ER PPC but wayyyy too much heat.

I first got a Spider 5K (i think) and then saved up and got an Atlas DDC. Seriously had to adjust the way i played to make that jump! I enjoy playing the light mech far more though. Think I might try a med of some sort next. I really struggle with heat management on the DDC.

Stopped playing at the moment, got fed up with all the jump snipers even though the last patch was supposed to tone that down a bit. It is as bad or worse now.

I'm still playing my dragon, juggling the loadout and saving up to buy the other Dragon models so I can get the elite perks. Not sure what I'll go for after yet!
(Currently running LB-X 10, 2x MPL, 2x MG + SRM4/wArtemis)

Joined a clan last night comprised of people in the UK/EU who play 1800-0600 GMT so often a good number of people on in the evening :)

Problem I have, is getting bombarded by LRM boats and smaller mech out-maneuvering me. Dammit!

Haven't had chance to play it in a few days though.

I have a jagermech with x2 ultra ac5 & x2 er Large laser which works well, low-ish armour for a heavy but great weapon placement imo (similar to the stalker actually!)

I was using a 2xML, UAC5+AC5 combo for a while. That was fun, but felt very situational, some matches I'd get epic damage, othertimes I'd be very low :)

Yes, LRMAggedon can be a pain. I actually took my AMS off in the end as I found it didn't really make a big enough difference and my mech didn't have the slots for 2.

Small update, would recommend if you guys enjoy playing but struggle getting a group or a coordinated group, that you try looking up the 201st Strykers. Most of them are American with a small EU core, but they tend to play between about 1800-0600 GMT so there's nearly always someone on in the evening.
They're pretty friendly if a bit mad, and seem to understand work and life restrictions, but encourage fun, and TS communication.

INGAME - currently just bought my Dragon 1C to get the perks and playing around the loadout whilst I wait to save the cash for the upgrades for it.

Great, how many are we so far?

Also, i've been trying to work out how i can use my mic while playing because it takes too long to type. Can we only use it in a clan?

Cant believe i havent played this sooner, downloaded it yesterday and so far im loving it lol. Have myself a Cataphract CTF 3D, still getting used it and the game itself but so far so good
