Medical examination in high school.

So me and the GF were chatting and I was talking about when we had to have a medical in high school, you know the old drop your trousers and cough. She seems to think that no one else did this and my school was kinda weird.
I left school in 93 is it just my school or was this an actual thing that everyone did back then. :eek:

Yes we had that also, can't remember why it was checked. Left school in 86 but the examination was much earlier.

your girlfriend however, being a girl, didn't require a doctor to check if her balls had dropped yet - so yes it might have been weird if they'd done that to her...

I was at school in the 70s/80s and never experienced anything like this at all. It makes me think of the 'Penis Inspection Day' thing on /b/

To be honest, it sounds as if you were molested or something.

yup, army doctor did it to me too... though I think they're checking for something else when they do it to a bunch of grown men

either that or some doctors are part of a big paedo/homo ball groping ring

Had the squeeze and cough test in the second year of secondary school which would have been late 1970s.

It was followed by the very painful and permanently scarring BCG inoculation, so my favourite memory of my schooldays.

at school the standard rumour was they did it to check your balls had dropped

though google brings up this re: checking for inguinal hernia - which is probably why adults get the old cough and drop too

Left school 1985,1 had medical examinations, dental checks and Nit checks, Polio vaccine on a sugar lump, BCG injection and Tetanus Boosters through out my school life.
