That's my point though. Infatuation with a girl because she looks pretty has nothing to do with love.

yes ok, but you know what I mean. Sometimes theres that special girl you see and you wish you had got her number or something. She might be a total cow but you would never know if you never got her number.. She could turn out to be your future wife lol..

I really dont need advice on actually finding a woman, i have a woman coming round later for dinner, but i dont like her enough to settle down with her. The same can be said about women brought back from clubs who stay over. If i was prepared to settle for a woman i simply find attractive and nothing else then i would have one.

Fact is i have had enough of messing around and long to meet my perfect partner who i could really love and think about settling down with. This is what at the moment i have an issue with, as i dont do anything which would enable me to meet these kind of women.

No, i will know instantly if she is perfect, this one and countless others arnt.

I have been in love (and i suppose still am) before, and out of countless girlfriends its only ever her that i dream and think about on a daily basis, even a year after we have broken up. With her i fell in love with her the moment i first set eyes on her, before even speaking. I messed it up and never does a day pass that i dont regret it. Every girl i meet i call them by her name accidently, and it still feels wrong with anyone else.

I need to wait for this to happen again.

i have regrets, but none that hold me back. regrets are pointless as in general whats done is done, dwelling on it will just make things worse.

i am happy with my life. i got a hot G/F, a great job, a nice place to live and brilliant friends and family. oh and i have my health.

nothing to be sad about here!

its funny i was in the same situation, i mean exactly the same. we ended up getting back together and it has not worked out. too much had changed.

This is why i am very reluctant to bother now. I have changed a lot, i am sure she has too. And at the end of the day we broke up for a reason. The reason was my fault, but it was still a reason.
