I don't know about the G.SKill Trident Z Neo, but i've had my Team Group 8Pack Edition 2x16GB 3600MHz kit running 3800MHz, CAS14, FLCK1900, 1.5V for over a year. It's at 1.45v. I could get more out of it if I upped the voltage to 1.5 but it tends to get over 50c. So I need to find a good cooling solution before I go any further.
I would run 1.5v to try to get more out of the ram but it gets over 50c and will get errors. I already have pretty good air flow in my case. So need to figure out a clean way to get a fan blowing directly over the RAM or something to get the temps lower.I don't know about the G.SKill Trident Z Neo, but i've had my Team Group 8Pack Edition 2x16GB 3600MHz kit running 3800MHz, CAS14, FLCK1900, 1.5V for over a year.
Its perfectly fine, idle its only slightly warm to the touch. TestMem5 0.12 with Extreme1@anta config it runs without errors for hours. Apparently thats a super aggressive RAM testing program too. Those sticks are rated 1.20-1.40v
What are you benching / playing to take the ram over 50c and generate the errors? I have an Infrared thermometer laser temperature gun so can try the same. I test with Karhu and it gets to around 53c in Warzone at 1.5v. At 1.45 it gets up to 47c. Here is a pic of my case. Front has 3 x 120mm intake, 280mm AIO top mount with 2 x 140mm exhaust and 1 x 140mm rear exhaust. What are you benching / playing to take the ram over 50c and generate the errors? Inside case looks like this. Front two case intake fans and rear case fan are 'Noctua NF-A14 PWM Chromax Premium Grade Fan - 140mm'
All 3 are locked at 42% to keep noise at a constant level thats not loud but provides good cooling

Lol Yeah I haven't got around to changing the colors yet. So it is currently RGB puke for now. After an hour and half of Warzone memory is 45c (laser temp sensor so not exactly 100% accurate)
Memtest86 earlier didnt seem to do much, but only left it 3 hours. Temp was 29c
I don't have Karhu to test
Very colourful PC!
HWMonitor i dont think mine shows RAM temps. Presuming no built in RAM sensors.Lol Yeah I haven't got around to changing the colors yet. So it is currently RGB puke for now.
I use HWMonitor for temps and even at idle I'm around 35c on the hottest RAM stick.
