It can do, yes!
Building a top end gaming rig but more than.
There are scenery packs that are HD photo realistic. Takes up loads of RAM and VRAM as it loads.
One actually says 32GB but 64 to give headroom!! Yikes

Insane! That's cool! Going to look up how that looks

Any word if these do 3200 on Ryzen platforms?

The 3200 stuff went straight up to that speed with zero issues on my 1600.
just a note of caution, not all ryzen are 'created equal' i have a 1600 with a gigabyte gaming 5 motherboard and even with samsung b-die ram i can't get passed 2933 so while some may be able to get the ram to 3200 others may not. just the luck of the draw.

Good info, thanks.
Hopefully the Extreme4 board will be good for that, reviews and specs say so.
The T-Force Vulkan has its own QVL list for tested boards with the Extrame4 on it even though memory isn’t on ASRock QVL.

running 2x of the vulkans from different batches on my z370 extreme 4 at 5.1 ghz no problems here at 3000 mhz

I have the same motherboard (with a 1700X) and went through several memory kits, could never get anything stable at 3200 not even stuff on Gigabytes QVL. Gigabytes poor BIOS support on their X370 boards really didn't help.

yea I read quite a few complaints on the official gigabyte forums from users on the gaming 5 struggling, whereas the K5(I think it was called) which was supposed to be a 'lesser' board was apparently proving to be far superior.

this to me gives credibility for PT using ram at 2933 on their AMD testing, clearly its not like how Steve at GN claims where XMP is apparently not overclocking and you just stick the ram in, enable the DOCP timings and you good to go.

Spent hours on it. Still no chance of breaking 2933 on Samsung b die ram in my instance.

50/50 chip or board. Have board that can handle 3700hz but one chip could only handle 3400hz on another. Or have you'd to identical Asus boards in the past and one hit 3600hz the other struggled with 3200hz , same chip .

Hopefully might see 3200+ with your ram when Zen2 appears :D
