Merlin - better than heroes!

Well no, you can't really compare between the two, but I saw Merlin's episode 01 last night and it was awesome to me, will be watching the rest of the episodes of season 1 when i got the time.

What do you all think about this show?

It's so unpopular, isn't it?
 
I watch Merlin as its something to watch as HEROES isnt on ....

To say its better than Heroes is a joke....
 
i watched one but didnt really enjoy it, then read that its the same every week. victor meldrew guy tells him not to use magic or sommin along those lines..so when i watched it again they were right and i never bothered again :D

does that even make sense heh??
 
It's ok. Can sit through an episode quite happily. I kind of expect slightly dodgy writing, acting, effects etc from a BBC program so lower my standards accordingly. That's not to say heroes is much better, much preferred the 4400.

You must be very odd indeed if you don't like heroes. Lost and Merlin I can understand not being peoples cup of tea. But Heroes! :eek:
 
Not better than Heroes!

Heroes is basically a live "good" version of xmen which i think is mint. I hope they stick with it for a long time to come.

Btw Merlin.. How many more medievil shows are we english gona spit out. Its getting crazy theres loads of same setting series and its just becoming very repetitive.
 
The people who wrote Merlin clearly dont have a clue as to the real story... Nearly everythign about it and every character in it goes against what the correct story of Merlin is supposed to be.

Its a complete pile of horse crap

I could say bad things about it too, but I wont.

Oh, and I love Heroes, however, that too is a rip off of another Program... The 4400.
 
i cant understand how people rave about heroes, yes i watch it but no its nothing special.
I dont find it very engaging very often etc.
Theres some really bland and nuisance characters, probably less entertaining than half the cast of hollyoaks.
 
better than Heroes, no chance. Heroes blows most UK made programes out the window as it has better acting & larger budget for episodes, iirc it's $1million per episode for Heroes
 
I hate these shows. I tried watching Merlin the other day and its just so crap.

I mean the characters all wear the clothes, carry the swords and walk the walk, but the actual story and dialog seems to be written by an 8 year old whose just finished reading a lady bird book on the knights of the round table.

Apart from seeing Victor in that wig, there is no reason to watch it.
