Happy Xmas all. First roast out of the way tonight, have 3 days of Xmas lunches to follow as I work my way around family and friends. Going to need a bigger belt!

Well prepared for once, wrapping was done a week or so ago, most of the food so prepped so just the gammon and turkey for cooking tomorrow. The children are fast asleep after much excitement today: their enjoyment is my favourite part of the whole thing these days.
My wife's getting sleepy so I may even have some time for Darktide before bed while sipping some Aluado (delicious red wine, I highly recommend it) and waiting for a 3 meat Finnish stew to Finnish slow cooking: score!
