I don't if it makes you think St Anger is actually good  :p

ah, you got me there!

On second thoughts, whatever it is, throw it out the window, burn it, just do whatever you have to do.

Obviously, its in his opinion about it being good, but i just don't agree!

Just thought i would bring this thread back to the top as we are only a couple of weeks away from the best night at Wembley since it reopened :D

BFV have cancelled and are set to be replaced by another band, which according to most people posting is a good thing, I suppose that depends on who replces them.

Oh yes and I have my ticket :p

Not really bothered about the support acts, never heard any of the support acts stuff, person I am going with is into StoneSour, so she is hoping they will play, though she saw them at download a few weeks ago...

And the tickets arrived yesterday :)

Whats the best way of getting there? I was thinking of driving, but might get the train instead.

Got my tickets but ticket master have asked for them back now!

Due to Wembley Stadium being incomplete when this event was put on sale, the block capacities originally given to us have since changed. Subsequently, to ensure that all of your party are seated together, we have had to relocate your tickets to an alternative block. As a result your original tickets are no longer valid and will not gain you admittance to the event.

Not hugely bad then, all they are saying is your seats aren't valid and they have to re=issue you with some new seat numbers. Slight inconvinece but nothing major.

A larger inconvieniance as I need to get them back to ticketmaster by Thursday which means getting the tickets back from the people who I bought them for sharpish & sending them special delivery. They only sent them a week ago when they must have known this was a problem, why the hell didn't they just send the new tickets? Also, not so sure having checked my account that the new seats are any better, they are a bit closer but far higher up.

Just a pain in the proverbial really.

Hehe, I was at Download too, doesnt mean I wouldnt absolutely love it if they played again, they were awesome at Download (so you have an idea of what they're like, think melodic heavy rock/metal, like a lighter, more musical version of slipknot - Corey from Slipknot is the main singer, but hes a lot more skilled than Slipknot work might have you believe - go watch the video on Youtube of Through the Glass to see what I mean :D)

Am already excited about this gig, will be almost holding my breath if the replacement for BfmV is a famous band I like!

My tickets arrived about a week ago :)

Don't drive, there is hardly anywhere to park officially and the clamp vans are always out in the surrounding streets looking for non permit holders.

Your best bet is the train or national Express, depending on where you are coming from.

what time do the doors open?

Doors open 2.30
First band (Mastadon) @ 4.30

See you all there :D

Looks like the train, which is cheaper than driving anyway :)

Just hope I can get to Kings Cross by 23:35 to get the last GNER back to Peterborough or it will be 3am before I get there :(

News coming through seems to be that MACHINE HEAD will be repalcing BFMV!!!

Just an bit of an update on what I said about parking, this is actually available and seems to be £25 prebooked.

Now that would be brilliant if Machine Head played. They blew the place away at Download...

Confirmed on Metallicas site!!!!!!!!!
