Metro: 2033, trailer

You don't have to get it through Steam to get the Red Faction game. If you look at the pack shots on 'a site that sells games and books' there is a sticker on the pack that says it includes the Red Faction Guerilla disk.
 
I love the fact that ammo is currency, you use makeshift weapons and have no HUD. I'm looking forward to this.

This got 81% in one of those 360 mags, nice long review although I couldn't get a good read as one of those WHSmith lasses was shuffling around in the computer mag section :)

That made me laugh. I love WHSmith mag section, its like 95% reading, 5% buying. Ive spent 30 minutes reading mags before getting 'shuffled' away.

Yeah because the head of PR at the publisher of a game is a trustworthy source.

I get your point, but these are ex-GSC guys, who focus on PC almost exclusively. Plus, looking at some of the features I can see where they're coming from. The fact that there's no HUD screams of PC gaming complexity, plus it seems odd that they'd be bigging up a game for PC in this console dominated age, and that they're programming for PhysX and DX11. If they didn't care about the PC version they'd go for the cheaper and easier DX9 port.

Regardless, I always have hope.

I wouldn't give that anywhere near 9 either, probably about 7-7.5 region. To get a 9 a game has to be near flawless in it's execution. This sounds good but closer to 8. Still looking forward to it though (I tend to play stealthy anyway which sounds better suited to this)
 
Those screen shots look amazing, hopefully DX10 won't look that much worse. Definitely going to be getting this one :)
 
Hmm I originally written this off as some Stalker knock off, but this is starting to look really good actually. My only concern is that my system isn't really up to scratch anymore (E7200, 8800GTS) so I wonder just how scalable the engine is.

Purplesky, that bird, always the same one, she's either there when I go in - in which case I pick up a mag in another section, 'Buses Monthly' or she homes in on me as I'm reading and I get shuffled away back down to Buses Monthly. She aint a picture either either, infact if she had her own magazine, it would probably be called something like 'Busty Fat Ass Nymphos in Uniform: Earthquake Edition'. :)

PS can't wait to see her again on Monday :)

Metro 2033. wasn't too excited at first, but I'm looking forward to it now...not a STALKER fan though, so any links to that game is off putting.
