One thing I really find annoying with this game is the way it keeps taking you out of the game and to the map for loading. It really removes you from the experience and is annoying.

i think that's down to consoles low amount of ram.

Really? The spiders? I just did that bit and barely fired a shot. Your torch does all of the work, you can't even hurt them with bullets until they roll over then 1 shot in the belly.

The atmosphere in this game is phenomenal, playing in the dark with volume cranked up is quite the experience. Although if you have arachnophobia, you're gonna have a bad time

Only downside for me is how stupidly blind the AI soldiers are, seems like you have invisibility cloak on sometimes. I much prefer the sections with monsters.

No not the spiders..all those dog type monsters and the bats on the walls, theres about 50 of them lol its quite far on into the game.....

I have 16GB of the stuff in my pc a little buffering would do the job

I know the bit you mean. Right at the end of that I was really struggling.

Had to break out the grenades and throwing knives. You can one hit kill a nosalis with a knife. Remember to go and collect them in the short gaps between waves.

There's also a section earlier on in the level where they're busy eating and pay no attention to you. Save ammo by staying in the dark and using the knives to kill them.

flyvpn.com's 20 minute free trial is enough to do the unlock. Takes a few attempts to get in if you're not a paying customer though. Just keep pressing the connect button.

You can pre-load the game without VPN first.

spotflux is easiest most user friendly and free app that I found for this purpose. Unlocked metro with it yesterday.

The flyvpn won't connect for me, no idea why.

I also tried spotflux but when loading up Steam, I get no connection as well as games still being sold in GBP and won't let me launch the game.

Maybe I should just have some patience and wait the 7 hours..

Or run the game straight from the exe in the steam folder
