I'm sorry, but there is absolutely no way this is anywhere near as good as Halo 3. It's not even got multiplayer or any replayability value.
, I liked Halo 3 but for a Long lasting campaign and differant control scheme Metroid Wins. Also i didnt find the aiming scheme anything like Red steel, red steel was choppy, looked like die hard for the Gamecube and played just as poorly, the controls on this seemed a lot more calibrated and reliable.MP1 was fantastic whereas I felt MP2 dragged on a bit and turned into a meh-fest. Pre-ordered this but non-first class, so we will see. I have high expectations.
I still reckon Super Metroid will be the best in the Metroid series. Its backtracking was far more manageable due to the smaller environment, whereas in the Prime games to me ended up turning into a bit of a chore (especially in 2) and were easier to get lost in (even with a map). So I think the more linear, albeit still intact, experience will work to the game's advantage in this case.
You can turn the A and B buttons around so it feels like you're firing a proper trigger with the gun. I did this after my initial session and it feels a lot more natural.
What sensitivity are ppl using?
On that note, has anyone changed any of the default control settings?
If so what to? And what do people recommend?
Well it's great, controls are very well intergrated for the wii, however I wouldn't say the graphics are nextgen by any means... basically looks just like metroid2 on the cube which isn't a bad thing to be honest![]()
It's a what ?
What should I be comparing this game to, if it's not really an FPS? It seemed like one to me, what with the first person field of view, a gun, aliens that shoot at you, etc. There is a distinct lack of exploration as well, unless you mean backtracking - of which if I wanted to have a good time backtracking, I'd play on Halo: Combat Evolved.
I will expand my views on the game when I've actually gone and completed it. I do know it's unfair to lay the smackdown on MP3 when I've only spent about two hours on it.
Kreeeee is there any chance of you bringing MP3 and the Wii to the LAN? I'd love to play it and I currently don't have the time or money to get it, but really want to try it.
Cheers.
