Verstappen is eating up Rosberg at the moment, and Hamilton isn't liking the medium tires either. No one is really except maybe Verstappen right now.

It could be that Hamilton just saw the 2 second gap to Vettel and decided he had the gap to back off and just wait rather than get in a fight with Vettel. Considering overtaking is difficult here even with a faster car and Vettel has been... fiesty, this year, I can understand hanging back a little then pushing after he pits.

Saying that, Ham still isn't very fast.

What has happened to them over the last few races? They looked so good in the early part of the year.

I shouldn't be massively surprised but this saving/managing can be frustrating sometimes. 2 or 3 balls out stints would be more exciting. Or just make the races shorter knowing people get bored of the middle part.
