5L have just suggested 50 laps may be a limit on a single set of tyres....

Am I missing something, why is Vettel noticeably faster than Hamilton. Okay they are probably cruising but if Vettel suddenly manages to one stop... okay a tire loss but damn, that is some impressive pass at this point of the season.


Also Perez there, Perez was WAY further off the track than Rosberg and made the effort to make the corner. Rosberg could have made that corner and easily and purely decided to not even try, also gaining an advantage from it.

Vettel is outpacing Hamilton, he's certainly not losing time to the main players he's fighting at the moment. Everyone seems to be missing that if he goes 4 laps, he can probably one stop.

EDIT:- everyone can probably one stop, but one stop with pace as opposed to one stop with bad pace.
