Can we get a 5 second penalty for Vettel? Moving in the braking zone, causing a collision?

He should never have been in that place had the stewards done their job properly. Perhaps they should give themselves a penalty

If Verstappen had let him through Ricciardo may have caught and passed Vettel. RBR ****ed up.

I don't think that is ever a penalty. If Vettel was alongside at any stage, even more so if alongside into the corner that is one thing. But Vettel wasn't remotely close to the overtake there.
I don't think that would ever be a penalty before, you skip a corner when actually being passed then yeah, give it back. But Vettel was honestly miles back, he wasn't trying to pass him, he'd tucked in. Verstappen made a mistake and cut the corner, the time gap was a little dodgy but most of the time I think at most they'd be told to let them gain back to the same gap as before.
It's a case of, if you can ONLY keep the place by going off track then you have to concede the place, but if staying on track you would have easily kept the place it's just a mistake and not worthy of a penalty in the slightest.

Lewis' was at the 1st corner on the 1st lap, cold brakes etc. The stewards are right to be lenient on things like that. Brundle even alluded to it a little later in the race.

Agreed, he had a proper teenage stroppy face when he received the news.
It's the whole; first lap thing, no one was really on him and he closed the gap back to second so that it was similar to when he went off. Plus max was definitely going to lose that place, it was just a matter of time.

Stewards seem to be more forgiving in the opening laps due to cold tyres and general chaos ect
