Lol i'm not too bothered tbh, I actually have a life and things to do outside of my computer.
Its a beta yes, but why is it that other betas have had no trouble with rolling out on the day they were meant to? Surely it would have been the decent thing to stagger the release, or even warn people before hand that you might not be able to play it due to demand.
Whatever it is, Konami have screwed up, not too hard to see that tbh

Yeah i would believe so, I cant see a reason why they wouldnt let you download the client after the beta had started?
You need to go to PS store and download the MGO beta client - this will need updating once you installed it. To update the client, you need to start the game and follow on screen prompts
Then the hard part - get a konami id from konami

As mentioned before, you would have thought that konami would have had the servers up and running, but as a beta tester i think we have already helped konami to show that what they have at the moment server wise is inadequate? and the sign up server also needs some work, so ineffect even the ppl who are getting somewhat animated have already helped konami, which is all we beta tester can hope to do.

1) Start date: Planned for 04/25/2008 24:00(PDT). While the start is planned for the weekend, it may change due to unforseen circumstances.
3) Beta Test closure: This will now be on 05/11/2008 at 24:00(PDT) rather than 05/05/2008 at 24:00(PDT)

Chill-out girlie's, this is all for our benefit, would you rather this happened on the final release ?, tbh knomai needed a kick up the bum and it looks like they've got it, hopefully they will sort out the servers properly now.
This is only the beta, the final release date is just under 2 months away, this gives them a taster of demand and helps them iron a few bugs out before release. Also most people want to play MGS for the SP not MP.

eh ? lol ha ha, are you serious mate ?, MGS isn't even out yet, you do know that don't you ?, this is a beta of the MGS online, most people are waiting for MGS4.
