But I got some real bad jaggies on the graphics. I took the microlight up at St Martin for a spin, I had all the graphics on the highest and it was really smooth, but the frame of the microlight was really jagged - I thought AA was supposed to eliminate this.

My system is 4800+, 2GB RAM, HIS XTX1900, with the 6.8 drivers. Resolution is 1620 x 1050 I think (Dell 2007WFP).

Am I doing something wrong?

Remember its a demo, I doubt they had everything finished by the time it was made.
 
Its true it is a very old demo which isnt optimised hence the slooooow frame rate. But.. some areas are disappointing, mostly the ATC as it seems its unchanged. I can only hope they have fixed the slow traffic and go arounds problemm, without using 3rd party tweaks to fix.

I played the demo once and once was enough. FS as a whole is full of errors especially with regards to the ATC.
If you want decent ATC, give Radar Contact a whirl.
