Yep, nice - I had the Maroo SP3 sleeve, and it was very good.....although it did not handle the Pen so well, and I ended up with a scuff on a corner of the SP3 This does look a little better thought out......but at a price

We now have 2 of these at work. One is a contractors own and the other has been bought as the work laptop for a full time employee. A number of other people (mainly the sales guys, unsurprisingly) are also eyeing them up.

Having played with it a bit it is very nice, but I simply cannot see why its worth the £1800 - £2300 price (we have the i7 ones). Its just far to expensive for what is in reality, just a nice keyboard and a Surface Pro 4.

My new XPS 15 laptop arrived today too. Its more powerful than the Surface Book, more useable in a business IT environment, and cost over £1,000 less!

It has a nice feel to it and also has two back pockets and a credit card pocket on the inside.

Looks nice ^^ Is the pen holder 'bit' just a loop or a sheath? Reason I ask is that my SP3 managed to get a scuff from the pen when held in the Maroo sleeve I had for it, so - for the Surface Book - I would prefer an 'enclosed' pen solution....

It's a sheath and close fitting.

looks likely that's surface book 2 wont be out till early 2017,w10 redstone 2 pushed back till early 2017, possibly due to Kaby Lake not being out till end of 2016.

Ooh, good stuff - wonder if this will fix occasional Windows Hello camera fail and random(?) peculiar display driver flashing issue on some websites....only gremlins I have experienced thus far...downloading now :fingerscrossed:

I've had both of those occasional gremlins. The Hello camera fail stopped after last weeks windows update. My experience since getting it has been very good.

Well, 1 day in and no issues with Hello camera yet; not a particularly empirical test, I know! Same for flickering screen, none noted, but it really was rare and only on Edge use (methinks some flash or similar web content related??).

Only other 'issue' that I have experienced is that sometime the mouse pointer disappears when no motion for some time....only way I have found to get it back is to separate and re-dock To me, this seems like a powersave/driver issue, which is kickstarted into life on reconnection? Funnily enough, happened last night whilst watching football on Sky Go (full screen)......hadn't moved the cursor etc for over an hour, when I did (half-time), no mouse pointer - process above resolved.

Even after the updates I'm still having issues with the camera starting from a cold boot, works fine after a restart though.
