So they're going sneak a neural processing unit in to your PC via an update? Cool.

Having a quick look online it can be enabled and running without an NPU. processor is a snapdragon 1 but also states it should work on X86 and X64 processors from AMD and Intel

Windows 11 Copilot+ AI features like Recall can be enabled without an NPU

Developer demos Recall working without an NPU on current Arm64 CPUs, and says it should work on x86 too.

Like everything these days you take most things on the internet with a pinch (Or bucket) of salt.

If my PC does not meet the requirements for for Recall why can I not uninstall it (rather than disable it) and have to have more unless bloat on my PC that I am never going to use.

Where do you get it from as the 1 via Microsoft is 24H2 now and then your stuck with 3rd party sites and you never know what has been done to them (i know most likely nothing)

Here you go. You can still get older ISO's from MS servers via 3rd party projects. I've downloaded 23h2 using link above and installed no problems. This link was also provided by a mod from Microsoft help pages. See here
