Just Breaking: Duncan Ferguson has been charged with violent conduct and suspended for 6 games after the Everton v Wigan game on tuesday.

BBC

Everton
"Could" be doubled to six games.

I'm not surprised though, he's always had a violent streak in him.

we desperately need Kolo back (and Eboue now too). What with Gilbert injured too, and fat Sol being bloody useless, we've got barely anyone left. Might be time to recall Hoyte at this rate.

Campbell isn't in the squad for our next match so that makes 8 defenders missing (cole/clichy/lauren/cygan/gilbert/toure/eboue all unavailable). Bit of a strange one if he's been dropped given the injury crisis, maybe his lack of fitness is more serious than first thought.

Fergie doesn't give interviews for the Beeb any more, he still does on Sky.

He nodded it back without looking to see where VdS was, didn't call to let him know he was nodding it back to him, then at the end shouted at VdS as if he'd expected him to be standing on the goal line. In fairness VdS could have averted the whole disaster with a shout, but as a defender your first job is get it clear and don't try anything cute if there's any danger. i.e. hoof it away.

He got no call, he was under the ball for a good few seconds, i thought he was just doing what he has done a hundred times before, and just, nod it back.
If he got no call, he got no call.
Either way, blackburn did not deserve to win the match, but united, with their stupidity and schoolboy mistakes deserved to lose it.

Yup

Yup

Fergie doesn't care about form, why else did Scholes play all of this season until he literally went blind?
There's just an unbelievable lack of common sense displayed managerially these days for us. Chelsea are suffering a small period of less than imperious form and we could have picked up important points. People keep saying the season is over and they're far out ahead. Well the gap would be a damn sight smaller if Fergie would take all of our Premiership matches seriously and cut out the losses due to experimental or just plain insane team sheets.

Hmmm.

in fairness fergie is so deluded that he thinks he is putting out a decent team each week, and that we should be beating our opponents.

what he doesnt realise, is that theres no point in resting the players for europe/whatever. the league should be number 1 priority!!!! and the cups a Very close 2nd. we dont have to prepare for europe, we have nothing else looking forward?

i mean realistically we could be facing EUFA cup football and that prospect is not diminishing any with playign RIO in midfield.

we have enough defenders, and had enough before the transfer window. and if we didnt, how can we now suddenly afford to start playing them in midfield?!

i mean surely a new centerback, and a center midfield would have made so much sense, with heinze back for next season, and richardson/o'shea a good enough replacement? (leaves ronaldo, park, and giggs to fight it out for RW/LW spaces)

and then fletcher?

"Mmmmm Rio i love you, you are my best friend *kiss* *kiss*"
"Lets go behind the bike sheds, then we wont get caught"

You dirty boy.

:p

Yeah I just read that too. I really hope he sorts himself out, because it must be serious to have affected him this badly. He's never been the flakey type before.

Best of luck to him, but that now leaves us without ANY of our first-choice back four, and only one of our second string.

Rumours flying about whats wrong with him. Bottom line is he walked out halfway through a game, he showed a lack of respect to both his fellow players and fans. He forced Wenger to play a Right footed midfielder to make his debut at left back. While I hope he gets better the bottom line is his behaviour was totally unacceptable. I don't think he should ever play for the club again. He certainly will never have my support.

Even better news, Injuries, 2, yes 2 fit defenders are all we have left, great.

"That kind of thing (the West Ham performance) can happen once in your life. For me he is a good player and he will be back definitely. I have tried to phone him but it was hard to get him."

Gotta love Kolo :D

I'm not so sure if the rumours will come out. There are lots of possible reason, nervous breakdown?

Why on Earth did you delete that post Rotty
